I'm the middle child of 3. Sister is 2 years up. Brother is 3 years down. Sister got away with everything. Younger brother was spoiled. I didn't get away with crap.
Youngest, also TALLEST of three brothers. Why is this common nowadays? 32, 31, and I will be 30 soon. From May to November, my brothers and I are 1 year difference in age. For a while, I could have had a baby brother when I was 20 . Also the only one to start college, only one to finish college. Ouch.
Younger of 2. My brother is 2 years older than me. Not really that many advantages. I always hung out with my brothers friends though and as a result I was kinda more mature than most of the kids my age and so I never had many friends til junior high.
Youngest with one older brother. Disadvantage: caught a lot of beatings. Advantage: learned how to take a beating.
My situation is a little different. I was an only child until I was 17 and not in the house anymore. I'm more like an Uncle to my brother, we both got to grow up as only children, I guess. I have spoiled him & turned him into a hard-core Rocket fan though!
Youngest of two. I have an older sister with about 4 1/2 years difference in age. We didn't really get along until we were both in our 20's. We've become very close as the years have gone by, despite the fact that she's married to a obtuse, demented blight upon humanity. Interestingly enough, my son is the same number of years older than my daughter. Unlike us, until we were older, they get along very well. Go figure.
Oldest with two younger bros I'm 24 they're 15 and 12 I know huge age differences. I figured something out the other day, when the youngest is in high school I'll be 30! Can you imagine telling your high school buddies you're older brother is 30? Advantages: Parents didn't know what the hell they were doing with me and so now they take out all their failures on my siblings. Disadvantages: I'm the black sheep which actually is more preferable than being the favorite. At least no one bothers me with family crap.
I am the quintessential middle child, the 2nd (2nd boy) of 3 children. It has it's good points and bad points. Bad point was that since I was a middle child, nobody loved me Good point is that now I can remind my parents of that whenever I want something from them!
