I would have thought Cannibal! the musical, would have made the short list. Mine are probably: 1) Pulp Fiction Not far behind - Jaws. My father watched it every time it came on. As does my girlfriend. Also, Big Lebowski, Royal Tenenbaums, and Caddyshack.
The first Rush Hour. No other movie can make me laugh so hard every time I watch it other than Tropic Thunder.
I think I hit Margin Call almost every Friday after work until Netflix took it off of streaming. I had a couple of internships in college that never amounted to anything, Quinto and Bettany were pretty much spot on as far as analysts and young associates go.
Reservoir Dogs. Damn that movie has so many funny dialogue and a good action movie considering it only has like 2 of them. Has anyone seen the original movie that it was based on? City On Fire???
I do. I freely admit it. There's a word that film critics use too much while describing performances, and here I am, using it myself. Hepburn was luminious, in Breakfast and so many other films. We watched My Fair Lady every year during the holidays while visiting my mother in Houston the entire time our kids were growing up. Hepburn wasn't a classic beauty. She was thin as a rail, for one, but she had more charisma in one of her long slender fingers than the vast majority of actresses could dream of having in their entire body. Couldn't sing, but effortlessly pulled off Lady, singing only one "song" herself. Truly one of a kind as an actress and her training a a ballet dancer gave her grace, which is something, like charisma, that you either have, or you don't. Yeah, I have a thing for her.
Lifetime: Apocalypse Now Past five years (in my mind): Dazed and Confused Past five years (in reality): It's either one of the Toy Story's, or Despicable Me, or one of the How to train your dragon, or one of those disney/pixar type movies that my kid has on every chance he gets.
