Start building my media or gameroom this year (I've been procrastinating) Be fully retired by the time I'm 45. Or at least can be retired if I want to be - I doubt I'll be able to stay retired; I'd get bored too easily. I took a month or two off from work this year just to see what it would be like with no job. I nearly went nuts after the 3rd week. lol. Buy some land and build a house at least 1-2 hours away from any major city. Either that or move back to Houston within the next 5 years. Yeah, I know... they sound completely opposite. Travel to Africa. Do a lot more volunteer work once I'm retired. Read a lot more - I don't read as much as I used to... bah.
I want to leave the country, temporary or permanent. Either way works for me. I want to get a new car. A brand new car. No more used cars. I want to go back to grad school. I don't know for what yet, but I'm going. I want to buy a house. And most of all, I want to find a job. Not just any job, but I want to find the perfect job. One where I don't get completely stressed out every day. One where I'm not afraid of my boss. And one where I don't have to yell at the top of my lungs 15x a day.
- Quit Dell (July 21st baby!) - Get my MBA from McCombs (2008 grad) - Work as an associate for a large I-banking firm (i.e JPM-Chase, CSFB, Lehman, etc) - Leave I-bank after getting burned out and get cushy corporate finance gig - Settle down, get married, and move back to Austin
Get a part-time job to help pay for college. Graduate from school. Start a career in some field of work that I enjoy doing. Find my own place to live, probably in Austin. Learn to cook something other than pre-cooked frozen goods. Buy a PS3...should be under the $500 mark in 5 years or so.
Awesome! I'm going to school to be an X-Ray Tech, and I'd eventually like to be trained in MRI, CT, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine. The school I'm going to is really good about cross-training in these things, too.

(the timing of this, or even the existence of this person, is not exactly up to me... but I can hope) -emerge from school as some sort of actual grown-up, ready to handle a grown-up job this time. I've got a few years, but I need to remember to do it sometime, since I've stayed in this stage of life far longer than most people.
