I have two games that are my most favorite. Number one for me is the Houston Cougars vs Louisville in the '83 Final Four. Talk about a dunkathon! Drexler, Dream, Rodney, and Scooter McCray. That game was non stop up and down serious throw down action! The game was like a ongoing slam dunk contest. Phenomenal game! Number two for me might be a little more obscure but it's the Loyola Marymount vs Michigan game. I can't remember which year but it was the year after Michigan won the title under Steve Fischer, maybe 1990. LMU had the whole Hank Gathers story going on where he died on the court. They were coached by Paul Westhead and had Bo Kimble and I think Jeff Fryar was the other good player. Michigan had Rumeal Robinson and I think Eric Riley (yes THAT Eric Riley). Back then LMU ran it up and down like crazy, scoring 130-140 points all the time. Michigan for some odd reason decided to try to run with LMU that day and it was a GREAT game. Of course Michigan ended up losing steam and getting run but what an awesome game. ------------------ Hofstra 2001 NCAA Champs - BELIEVE!
