Wow, I thought I was one of the few that actually takes about an hour from the time the alarm goes off to the time I' am actually up. I thought I had a serious problem. Does anyone get like this nagging headache when you first hear the alarm? It's not like a regular headache, more like a very, very small migraine that you feel on the side of you head. You just want to close your eyes and forget about getting up. Its weird.

Well today was quite different for me. I woke up quick at about noon. Just thought that I had to be in Compton soon.
wake up between 6 am and 9:30 am. Don't use an alarm clock. Take a leak. Brush my teeth if I had too much to drink the night before. If not, I'll brush after coffee. Make coffee and watch espn while waiting for coffee or espresso to finish brewing. Drink coffee and surf net. Maybe or maybe not go to gym depending on what time I wake up. Get some breakfast tacos. surf net/work/surf net/work. Check messages and start answering business calls after the coffee has thoroughly sunk in. Never before coffee. Take dump after coffee has sunk in. I usually skip shaving, though I need to daily. I'm surprised there aren't more wake and bakers on clutchfans.

Before a month ago: Wake up 7:30 - 8:15ish (no alarm) Shower, let dog out, feed cats. Out the door 30 min after wakeup and at work 5 min later. Early mornings, I'd stop at Kojak's and get breakfast. Now: Wake up with baby 6-8:30ish Pre 8:30 Let dog out, feed cats, use freetime wisely while wife is still home. Post 8:30 Hang out with jr and watch Sportscenter, or VHS of last nights game.
