Hate to say it but I kind of agree with you. But it was a shame to waste the effort that allowed us to win those 2 close low scoring games. If only we could have shot better in either game 6 and 7. No excuse to go that cold. GSW are good on defense but not to the extent that we shot that bad on our 3 pointers. After we went up 3 games to 2 I thought we had them. In hindsight we should have continued to play physical with them like we did when we beat them in the 2 low scoring wins.
i've already called out the refs in this thread regarding game 2, which we won. that game was also officiated by mauer & malloy (the one where they shaved 10 points off our lead to end the 2nd Q), it's just that we did bury them both under an insurmountable barrage of 3's that night. perhaps fresher legs w/ 3 days rest? who knows. point is, why the f*** does the league require us to go video game mode in order to beat a team 5 on 8? regarding games 4 and 5, which strange calls are you citing? please be more specific
Missed Lou Will this year, he would have got them out of a game 7 slump and this would have been a banner year. The guy won the Rockets two games against the Thunder in the playoffs last year with his shooting when everyone else was cold.

Use him in spot minutes when you're at say 0 for your last 15 3's, they needed buckets. You can say the same thing about Gerald Green and not expecting him to play defense. This is a different year and a different defense, if GG can play a little defense then Lou would have been a + on the floor as well.
the bulk of your 63 points came during the blowouts of games 2, 3, and 6 when GS end-of-the-bench scrubs badly outscored ours. games 2 and 3 for instance, the starters for each team both built up 30 point leads, difference is our scrubs let the lead get down to 20 and theirs ballooned it up to 40. should we also go back and tally up how many points were stolen from HOU and gifted to GS in each game? and how do we factor in the dozens of moving screens and defensive 3sec violations not called? nevertheless, this doesn't even fuking matter. the format is to win 4 out of 7 games, not score more cumulative points. in tennis sampras used to intentionally throw sets he knew he was going to lose anyways -- should those grand slam titles be taken away because some of his opponents won more total games?
The warriors were locking up mentally in those close games, they didn't seem to think they could win. On pure point differential, yeah the warriors were better, but point differential is a regular season stat, it has little relevance on the post season at all (you can gauge how much better you are in an easy series because the outcomes tend to be fairly similar, but that's still a low certainty), and certainly plays no part in a back and forth series.

Hard to make a three when they fouling our three point shooters with no calls. And when we finally make one it doesn’t count... If you didn’t watch the game then 0 for 27 seems atrocious. Sure if we shot better we woulda won, but the sad part is we didn’t even need to shoot better to win.
