You think he should have smiled and laughed when he was in foul trouble, struggling, playing extremely inconsistent and his team dropped four of five games played at that time?

    What are you guys thinking?

:( That's not good news at all. Basically Yao likes Rudy and Francis much more than JVG and Mac.

One of the reason you are seeing his frustrated EXPRESSION is because he's getting into foul trouble early. Maybe he thinks the refs are not being fair to him. If you watched the last couple games, we've been able to find him in the post for the pass. Yes, our opponents are still FRONTING Yao, but we are getting him the ball anyways.

But the problem isn't so much getting him the ball the last few games. It's that he getting in FOUL trouble early in the game! What good is it if Yao is on the bench and only playing 25 minutes per game?

Those fouls are on defense. But also moving on the screen (offensive fouls).

All of this gets fixed with a running game.

Well. that's the thing. You think he's unhappy because he played poorly and Rox lost several games. My buddies and I think he's unhappy becasue there's something esle bothering him in additon to what you mentioned.

Losing is not fun for any player. That part is obvious. But you need to watch the the last two games. Yao was on the bench a lot, but when his teammates scored, dunked, or got fouled, what was Yao doing?

He was cheering, waving his arms, and clapping. That was not "unhappy."

So, losing those other games has had a big effect on Yao because he's one of the leaders. Losing to the games that McGrady was injured also effect Yao.

Face it. Losing sucks! Winning does not!

Yao probably noticed that the team played better with him on the bench and not clogging the lane.

Yao needs to find a niche on this team, hard to believe that he has not fully adapted to the NBA in 2 + years but that is what is happening, he is struggling mightily with the new hand check rules.

Yao can be as good as Yao wants to be, but he has to work at it....and most of it is mental.

you are surprised that Yao is unhappy with losing to teams like the Hawks and the Knicks?

if you think we as fans are unhappy withthat...how do you think a competitor like Yao feels?

I think you adn your buddies need to quit taking drugs while watching the games...it would help you see things much more clearly.
