    I know that I'm going to get mocked for this, but I just went and found out which song I "aquired" (we have to be careful about this now) first. On May 20th, 2000 I "acquired" Pepper by the Butthole Surfers.

    I remember my sister telling me about it and I was a Real Audio junkie cause it they were smaller files to download with dialup.

    I just got my first MP3 last year and it was Abbott and Costello's Who's on First routine. My first song was Fifteen "Petroleum Distillation"

    the first song i dl was fall of 1997. it belonged to a guy's band i knew at the time. wish i still have that song, i thought there were good. the first "mainstream" song i got was prob Queen - We Will Rock You.
