4-12 is what the math side of me says. The optimistic side says if Demeco is as good as he looks, 9-7.
Anywhere from 5-7 wins is what I'm expecting, of course I could also see them being much better or much worse than that. I'll go on the pessimistic side and say 5 wins.
Whatever happened to the "last place schedule"?? That schedule is brutal i keep hearing people talk about how brutal the schedule is, but i dont think its that horrible. its tough but i wouldn call it brutal. PHI - i dont think they are as strong as they have been, but they're good. not unbeatable though @ IND - ok, they are tough. WAS - i think they are overrated and if portis is out its a win MIA - okay, but im still not blown away by them. daunte has a lot to prove @ DAL - solid/good team but not unwinnable JAX - solid but texans always play them tough @ NYG - who knows which team will show up BUF - below avg @ NYJ - poor team @ OAK - poor team @ NE - ok. tough CLE - below avg
PHI - W @ IND - L WAS - W MIA - L BYE @ DAL - L JAX - W @ TEN - W @ NYG - W @ JAX - L BUF - W @ NYJ - W @ OAK - W TEN - W @ NE - L IND - L CLE - W 10-6
....with the 5th pick in the NFL draft the Houston Texans select.... QB Brian Brohm out of Louisville.
Pretty much agree with your observations there, especially about Washington. I'd also say that Jacksonville is a little bit overrated ... and I wouldn't be surprised if we pull off at least one upset against them. I think the minimum this team could get is 5 wins, and it's very possible they win up to 8 -- if everything comes together just right.
I'm convinced we're looking at 8 - 8.The offensive and defensive lines are much improved.....And I definitely believe our defense should rise to the top 10 - 16 range over the course of the season. On offense,Either QB will suffice.Of course Carr has more upside and if he becomes the gunslinger again, this team might make the playoffs...Sounds crazy,I know.If not Sage is more than capable. Many, many weapons on offense and a pretty good defense. That's a recipe for winning. We need a quarterback out there making good decisions and running the offfense with confidence.
I'll go 5-11... 6-10 with the 'fro. David Carr is on the skids by the end of the season unless he's injured and we conveniently have to wait for a sixth year to see him prove himself.
We're gonna be around 10-6, if david carr dosen't improve during the season. we have a new qb and his name is sage rosenfels. moulds, johnson, and lundy are gonna light it up. hey when does jerome mathis come back? i miss him.
no way Carr will start no matter what [ he Texans are married to the guy] 6-10 sounds a fair assessment everything over that is Gravy Rocket River
I'm sticking to my prediction I made in March. Either 6-10 or 7-9. Then, playoffs in 2007. With or without Carr.
