It was in reruns by the time I caught that one and it didn't come on very much or for very long. But wasn't that the one where there was a talking police car?

Man that was a era. 3 channels and no remote. Then came UHF...ooh make that 4 channels. I remember when FOX came out, I thought they'd go under. Of course I thought MTV would go under playing those same 10 videos over and over. Robert Palmer was the only 1 I remember now.

There was a show on in the 60s where you bought a plastic film that you put on the TV screen and sometime during the show, they'd have you trace an object on the film that they'd use for a few minutes - I like to think of it as pre-video game since it was interactive TV. I'm not sure what that show was called though.

Mine too. I bought all the action figures, and everything. I owned the thing that allowed you to shoot plastic pizza's out of it too.

i didn't like gumby at all. the plot was never really good and it was too slow for me.

i did love TMNT the cartoon, the movies, the arcade and the game...i used to beat it all the time!

this might be strange, but around 8th grade or so, i really enjoyed watching Animaniacs (Wacko, Yacko and Dot) and also did anyone ever watch Eek the Cat? my sis and i loved that (high school) and our friends thought we were so strange. i wish that show lasted.

Ok, i think I figured it out. I was confusesd. The show with the kids and the real hands was Vegetable Soup. There was a show called Hot Chocolate, but it had diffrenet puppets.

I just found photos of the kid and the "Outerscope II", their spaceship. OMG, I haven't seen this in 25 years.

Used to love Get Smart and The Munsters when I was in elementary school. Anytime a Godzilla movie would come on in the afternoon, or the REALLY old black and white Superman series, I'd be in heaven also.

As far as nighttime, it was Different Strokes and Three's Company.

With out a doubt, my favorite tv show as a youngster was Star Trek. My Dad loved it too, so very fond memories there. I also liked Manix (of the plethora of PI/cop shows back then). My favorite cartoon was Speed Racer. My favorite reruns back then were Leave it to Beaver - just gotta love Eddie;)

As a young adult I LOVED TWIN Peeks... These days my favorite is Deadwood.

I remember in the afternoons, they had the Fox Kids Club and 39 Funtime. Some good stuff on after school like:

    Duck Tales
    TaleSpin
    Chip and Dale's Rescue Rangers
    Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
    Super Mario Brother Super Show

And, of course, I remember huddling around the TV on Friday night's for TGIF, with a lineup of

    Full House
    Family Matters
    Step By Step
    Boy Meets World

Going back to the 80's I was a big fan of some of the ones already mentioned, like:

    Muppet Babies
    Get Along Gang
    The Chipmunks
    Thundercats
    Wonder Years
    Different Strokes
    Silver Spoon
    Happy Days

The Man From U.N.C.L.E. my old man was doing his residency at methodist hospital and for several months he virtually lived at the hospital. they had a color TV in the doctor's lounge (we only had B&W at home) and every week i'd go down to the hospital and watch the show in color. one of my favorite memories of the old guy.

I watched that too, even though I was old enough to know better. :) It was just my silly way of relaxing after a long week. This was in the early days of TGIF, so after Full House and Family Matters we had Perfect Strangers and Just The Ten Of Us. (and a cartoon mouse that came out during the breaks) Then, for something a little more grown-up, there was 20/20.

I got into game shows when I was a kid for some reason: Press Your Luck and The Price Is Right, as well as Tic Tac Dough and the $howevermany,000 Pyramid and Family Feud. Don't ask me why. I was bored or something, especially in the morning during the summer.

I remember something of watching cheesy 80's dramas like "Highway to Heaven" and "Our House". :)

As an older kid (preteen/teenager): lots of 80's and early 90's sitcoms: Cosby Show, A Different World, Family Ties, Cheers, Night Court, Dear John, Evening Shade, Who's the Boss, The Hogan Family, ALF, and the TGIF stuff. Also: American Gladiators and the silly stuff on the USA network during the day. ("The Judge", and weird old game shows)
