You guys gotta be effing kidding me? He did aight. You guys overrated people soooo much then when they don't meet up to your expectations the heat begins....

I loved the beef he had with Kidd that one game, didn't back down. Props.

I remember he made some big buckets against the Lakers.

I gave him a high-five after the rookie dance-off at the open practice. I said, "you the man David", and he just put his head down and chuckled. Seemed like a nice guy..

Yeah I think it's kind of silly. It's like people on here were expecting Dwight Howard when he joined the team.

He had some good games. He had some not so great games. Role players are funny like that. Everyone on the team can't be a superstar.

It must be the NBA 2K/NBA Live effect.

I actually didn't think Andersen did that badly last year. Sure he was foul-prone and his defense needed a lot of work, but that's what happens to most frontcourt players in their rookie NBA season. Luis Scola went through the same thing.

The frustrating thing about Andersen was his inconsistency on offense. I thought his subpar shooting games often came as a result of his struggles on the defensive end.

Maybe in a season or two, he might be able to make defensive improvements, which in turn could help him find more consistency in his offense.

Anyway, he wasn't bad for what turned out to be a stopgap measure during a down season. Plus, his contract turned out to be pretty easy to move.
