I know there should be more, but this is all I could come up with for now: "Flowers Become Screens" - Delerium "Master of Puppets" - Metallica "Starla" - Smashing Pumpkins "Drown" - Smashing Pumpkins "Paranoid Android" - Radiohead "How to Disappear Completely" - Radiohead "How Soon Is Now?" - Smiths "Why Can't I Touch It?" - Buzzcocks "Auto-Bahn" - Kraftwerk "Trans-Europe Express/Metal on Metal" - Kraftwerk "For Crying Out Loud" - Meat Loaf
I'm with RM95 on this one! 90% of DMB songs are at least 6 minutes live. Probably 45% are about 10 minutes, then there's around 3 to 5 songs that will go for 20+ minutes. THEY ARE ALL AWESOME!! Two Step, #41, #36, Jimi Thing, Tripping Billies . . . the list goes on and on of awesome 20+ minute songs.
Dammit! I knew I forgot one!! BTW - "Little Fluffy Clouds" by The Orb is their best short song!! It might be their only song under 6 minutes...lol
I agree completely - on most of my mp3 playlists Three Days - Jane's Addiction The End - The Doors Riders On The Storm - The Doors The Core - Eric Clapton Through The Eyes Of Ruby - Smashing Pumpkins Master of Puppets yielded 3 more songs: Orion Disposable Heroes Master of Puppets There may be more, but those jump out
That's cause I just don't like it as much. The song has forever been tainted for me by my dislike of Denzel Washington.
Gotta go with the sure-fire classics: November Rain and Stairway to Heaven. I'll throw in my longest on my mp3 playlist... Gershwin - Rhapsody in Blue ..heck all classical songs are long!

How can there not be any Rush songs not yet listed???? Working Man YYZ- Live version from Exit Stage Left
A bit of trivia for ya...In-a-Gadda-Da-Vida was recorded in a single take! Before the producer arrived, the sound man wanted a sound check from each band member. Since they all had a solo in the song, they decided to play it as a warm up to get the sound check done. It was so good, they kept that first take as the final product, with only some minor tweaking done afterwards.
Stevie did 2 Hendrix instumentals: Little Wing Third Stone From the Sun He used to do Third Stone during his live shows in the early 80's.
are u talking about "voodoo chile"? that's the only song by SRV that i know is of jimi's...not too knowledgable in this department..
Behad, Thanks for the memory jog....... GFR I'm Your Captain Rare Earth Get Ready Mango
"That sounds suspiciously like Rock, and/or Roll music." Sadly, most of the songs I can think of come in at around 5 minutes or so, only song I can think of that hasn't been mentioned is "The Road Goes on Forever . . . " By Robert Earl Keen. BTW - I concur with what dylan said.
