Man, I thought my brother-in-law and I were the only people who had ever even SEEN this one. Two pages and no mention of "Hardbodies"?
Sat. the 14th has one line that just cracked me up and I still remember it though I saw this movie once, over 20 years ago. "That is like closing the barn door after the horses have eaten all of the children."
If you never worked an office job it probably wouldn't be as funny to you. Then again I saw this movie when I was in college and thought it was hilarious. A cool site with some interviews with the Office Space cast on its cult following. http://www.luminomagazine.com/2004.03/spotlight/officespacet.html
My last IT job was sort of like Office Space. I did quit and got another IT job. Still lots of stupidity to go around, but it pays the bills. Jeff, The last time I saw Stuenkel he asked what I did for a living. I told him I got paid to surf the Internet all day.
I don't know if you would call it a bad comedy, but Great White Ninja is a must see for me everytime it is on.
Disorderlies Over the Top (unintentional comedy) Anchorman (sorry, this flick wasn't very good!) Uncle Buck Canadian Bacon Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead Any Police Academy movie after Citizens on Patrol
That guy HATED me. The last time I saw him, he actually said, "Balke! I've been cursing your name since you graduated" because of the amp I picked out (it was big). That's what you get letting a 16-year-old rock musician pick out your bass amp!!! Damn, that guy did NOT like me!
I think its funny....but there are just so many funnier movies out there. However there are a few people who I work with who cannot stop quoting Office Space. I keep sending them referrals to Netflix as a hint, but they dont get it.
It would probably bother me if he did like me. You actually managed to cause him prolonged suffering after you left. I applaud you! Man am I ever glad my days there are behind me.
The only movie where you can see a guy flip someone off in 80 different languages! Also: Midnight Madness Screwballs Assault of the Party Nerds Meatballs IV (with Corey Feldman)
