I guess Texas is really hot! Here in Indiana it is hot but not that hot, 2550 sf house and I paid 100 last month, that is higher than any previous month I had before. But that doesn't compare to the heating bill in winter, which came to 200 one month Oh the setting is 80 while we are not home, I don't think the cats mind that, they haven't complained yet . 76 while we are awake and 80 after 12 pm (it usually isn't that hot after midnight).
Reliant sucks...they screwed up my bill and now having to deal with them...I just switched to FirstChoice up here and should be cheaper...I won't get my bill until next month though...
1550 sq ft house. My bill was $250 this month. I'm with Reliant. I usually crank it up to 80 during the day while I am at work and have it at 75 while at home.
Last months bill was 578.92. I live in a 3br apt. around 1200 sq feet. Havent had a bill under 450 in 6 months, i think i need to switch elec co's
Dude do you live in a tin shed with the air on 65? Somebody else must be hooked up to your meter. 2500 Sq. Ft., 77 constant, $325, Reliant for now till I find out who's the best
A relative of mine is friends with some guy that works for Reliant, and he actually goes over there and disconnects his meter so often so that it doesn't even run. I saw it with my own eyes. Talk about a hoookup.
1800 square feet @ 78 degrees with ceiling fans in almost every room. We usually run around $350. I killed the lights in my Coke machine that normally are on 24/7 and weather sealed the doors between our sunroom and the rest of the house and the bill dropped to just over $300 this month.
Are you sure? Do you mean Reliant or Centerpoint? Centerpoint would be the company with all the meter technicians, meter readers, etc. that have that kind of knowledge. Either way, it's not only illegal, but extremely dangerous.
live in a 1800 sq ft house, relatively new, built end of '04 my bill came out to $240 highest its ever been...last year this time never went over $190 keep the temp at 75 all the time and its an energy star home too
If you have access to the lead seals on the meter, you just break the seal, turn the meter upside down for a while and let it run backward and then fix it and reseal it. Oh wait this would be wrong, probably illeagal.
Please include your power provider. 1440 two storey house, 78 nighttime, 82 daytime ( weekdays ) 160USD, Reliant
