1)wolverine 2)batman 3)superman 4)spiderman 5)incredible hulk That is my ultimate 5 and 6th man would go to MJ -> micheal jackson
PG: Magic - His size, speed & incredible ball control would dominate today's PG's. SG: MJ - Not much of a 3pt shooter, but you can't question the talent. SF: Drexler - I think he was much more athletic than Bird & much quicker. PF: Garnett - I was torn between Garnett & Duncan, but Garnett's a muti dimensional player that can do more things & doesn't have to have the ball to make a difference. C: Dream - Wilt, Russell, & Jabbar were great, but Dream dominated a much more athletic level of talent. It's my belief that he would've given those 3 everything they could've handled if they had met during their prime. This would've been a dominate defensive team & an exciting offensive team.
Rex Chapman Calvin Murphy Dirk Shawn Kemp Wilt We'd score every night. Oh wait, we were talking basketball... Magic Jordan Drexler Duncan Dream
Nash Jordan Dream Lebron Garnett I feel disgusted with myself taking Nash and Garnett over Magic and Barkley, but the two former guys fit a lot better into the overall scheme despite being greatly inferior to their respective counterparts. Most would agree that the gap between Magic Johnson and whoever is your pick at #2 is greater than the gap at any other position (maybe even Jordan and Kobe). I have also stated many times that at his ultimate peak, Charles Barkley was better than any power forward in NBA history - Duncan included. I took Michael because, well, he's Michael. Dream over Shaq for the defense. Lebron over Bird because he's just flat out better than Larry Bird. I had to take Garnett because he's the most versatile team defender in NBA history and he can excel without the ball. And Nash over Magic simply because I need some perimeter shooting with Michael and Lebron on the wings already. I would probably be tempted just to drop Nash and run Lebron at the point with Kobe and Michael on the wings.
PG: Magic SG: MJ SF: Bird PF: LeBron C: Hakeem or Shaq 3 superb passers (Magic, Bird, LeBron), 2 glue-guys (Magic, Bird) plus plenty of speed and power.
This is easy. I take these 5 guys... Stockton Big O Bird Magic Sabonis ...and tell them they're not allowed to dribble, only pass. Hot damn that s*** would be fun to watch.
a 6'3 version of Yao at PG. a 6'6 version of Yao at SG. a 6'9 version of Yao at SF. a 6'11 version of Yao at PF. a 7'3 version of Yao at C. that's my 'dream' team. healthy bones of course.
pg - Magic Johnson sg - Michael Jordan sf - LeBron James pf - Kevin Garnett c - Hakeem Olajuwon A fast break nightmare for any opponent. Great rebounding, passing, and defense. A little weak on three point shooting but it just wouldn't matter. They'd be a hell of a lot of fun to watch together.
In their prime (It's MY Dream Team, they're all Rockets championship players): C - Olajuwon PF - Thorpe SF - Horry SG - Drexler PG - Cassell ----- Including non-Rockets: C - Olajuwon PF - Duncan SF - Bird SG - Drexler PG - Maravich
This thread is fun. Somebody should make an NBA Legends CCG, there's gotta be some nerd/sports fan overlap.
i don't know. it seems that the 7'5 or 7'6 version always break bones. smaller size may help. probably faster and jumper higher too.
