Phil Jackson is my choice. Other coatches need 3 superstars, but 2 is enough for Phil. Adelman needs no superstars, but he never got a title.
yeah, so you can put vmac, aaron brooks, mike james and franchise on the court together with dan langhi (aka "the future") playing center. If you coach like you post, you would run the same plan every possession every game...
1. Larry Brown without the drama 2. Rick Carlisle 3. Pop 4. Rudy T assuming some roster changes 5. JVG 6. Scott Skiles
1)Thibodeau .... Knowns the big man game! 2)Rudy T in his prime with Marrio Ellie, Calvin as Shooting / FTcoach .Hakeem for Big Man Coach,JVG as asst in charge of defence. A lot of strong personalities who would always keep JVG in his place! 3) Yetti
Scott Skiles just got fired yesterday for running the Bulls into the ground. He sucks. I would have Thibodeau 100 x before Skiles, JVG, and Carlisle. Pop and Rudy T have winning reputations culminating with Championships so I'm not dissing them.
so phil jackson knew how to use shaq....how many coaches actually had the opportunity to coach a shaq type dominant player, the closest dominant player out there lately is dhoward.
well, i wanted to go with calvin murphy because i think he understands how to play the game very well, and he knows everything about the organization and all the players. He would also be a very tough coach would put his heart into coaching and make sure that everyone on the court was busting their butts the whole 48 minutes. if i can't pick calvin murphy, i don't even know who would be the best coach for our players. I know phil jackson would probably get the team on straight path, and maybe lead them to a title if he really thinks he knows how to use Yao better than any coach in the league. Greg Pop is the easiest one to pick for perfectly good reason. Jerry Sloan of coarse is one of the greatest of all time. it's tough, but gimme Pop!!
Skiles got fired because the team quit on him (sounds familiar). If you look at the entirety of his coaching career, his teams generally always overachieve. Not having a low post scorer also hurt him bigtime; it's amazing he could even play .500 ball with no low post presence.
Dream coach... I dont know. Last year, when we got Adelman, I was like yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssss. We will have a better team and our record for the season will be 60-22. He will run our offense much better and etc. Now we see what happened (hope that it dont continue like that). So I wont name any dream coach cuz we never know anything the coaches.
1) Poppovich 1a) Bill Belichick 2) Phil Jackson 3) JVG 4) Stan Van Gundy 5) Jerry Sloan 6) Red Auerbach 7) Bill Simmons ... 9) Rick Carlisle 10) Mike Fratello 11) Pat Riley ... 14) Larry Brown 15) Clutch 16) durvasa .... 30) Van Gundier .... 35) AggieDentist 36) Biggienaz786 37) DJ Naztorious ...
