    PG - Ray Allen
    Sg - Michael Jordan
    SF - Larry Bird
    PF - Kevin Garnett
    C - Wilt Chamberlain

With MJ and Bird this team cleary doesnt need a traditional PG, but rather a knockdown 3 point shooter, defender and floor spacer; much like what Harper, Kerr, armstrong and Paxon did on Jordans championship teams. Ray Allen is the best 3 point shooter in history, a great spot up shooter, adept driver and pass as well as a more than capable defender if not elite defenders of pgs/sgs in his prime.

MJ is MJ and will be the primary penetrator, scorer, co-playmaker and wing defender.

Bird is Bird and will be the primary playmaker, secondary scorer in the post/wing as well as spot up.

KG isnt better than Duncan, but he is more versatile than him and for this team his greater defensive range, intensity and better perimeter jumper is just a better fit.

Wilt will be the primary post player and along with KG will dominate the paint defensively and on the boards. Both are extremely long, athletic and fast for their position and may be the two most physically imposing defensively.

Bird, ALLen, Kg and Jordan, gives this team 4 great perimeter shooters in its lineup as well as 2 of the greatest 3 point shooters in history. Obviously, spacing for drives and post up for MJ and Wilt will not be a problem. Nor will double teams and zones present a big problem, since this lineup can utilizes every open space/spot on the court.

The offense will go through Wilt Bird and Kg in the post in the 1st half, with MJ and Bird taking over in the second half. KG and Allen will be spotted up at the 3pt line and free throw line extended.

Defensively, Wilt will control the paint, MJ will defend the perimeter and KG will defend BOTH! KG's versatility will allow him to compensate for Bird's lack of athleticism, while Bird's defensive IQ and quick hands will complement KG MJ and Wilts pressure lock down defense. Allen's length and size on smaller pgs will also help defensively.

Rebounding, this team has arguably 4 of the best rebounders at their positions in the history of the NBA, with Wilt, KG, Bird and MJ. Ray Allen furthermore will have an advantage over most pg's not named Magi/Oscar in that dept as well.

Apparently this little girl here can't understand basketball, and when it's pointed out has to wet their diapers and throw an internet tantrum. Too cute little one.

PG - John Stockton (passing, efficient shooting, and tough defense)
SG - Michael Jordan (the GOAT - nuff said)
    SF - Larry Bird
PF - Charles Barkley (the guy can lead the break after gobbling up all the boards)
C - Hakeem (MJ did say if he had to pick a center, he would pick the Dream)

I think my team beats all

There is a player in there that has more championships in ONE streak than the rest of them combined.

    PG - Magic
    SG - MJ
    SF - Bird
    PF - Dream
    C - Shaq

Why Dream at PF? Simply because he can and him with Shaq at C is just dominant.

C: Hakeem: I pick him over other centers because he is the best of both worlds. Dominant defender and dominant scorer. He can be whatever I need him to be

PF: Garnett: He and Hakeem will shut down the paint and the mid range of any 4/5 combo in the league. Not to mention he and Hakeem can alternate in and out of the paint and abuse the other team's bigs.

SF: Scottie Pippen: I can't stand the guy and do not believe he is one of the greatest players in the history of the game, but on a team with as much talent as this one will have, I need a lockdown perimeter defender who doesn't demand the ball but still knows how to use it.

SG: Jordan: There's not even a reason to think of another person

PG: Mark Price: With the defense I've got on the team I'm not worried about another perimeter defender and I don't really need a creator with Jordan and Pippen on the wings. What I need is someone who is going to make the majority of the few shots he gets and will punish teams. Price is my guy.

Steve Nash and John Stockton are great and legendary PG in NBA history. But you're out of your mind if you think they are better than Magic Johnson.

    CP3 over Magic Johnson? ROFL.

Did you guys skip watching NBA basketball in the 1980's?

Olajuwoin is a center. That is the position he played and that he is how he describes himself. If you put him at PF, you are being either lazy or incredibly ignorant given the focus of this board.

    Mine:

    C: Dream
    PF: Bird
    SF: Dr. J
    SG: MJ
    PG: Magic
    6th man: Drexler
7th man: Barkley (slim, fast 76er version)

We are going to run and steal and run some more and slam all day and we're going to do it with two of the best passers ever while having the best defensive center to ever play the game providing a backstop and a low post option.
