Are you saying that somedays you only get 30 minutes of sleep and on your best day possible you get 7 hours, with an average of like 4 to 5 hours of sleep, Thats ridiculous! How do you make it through the day man?

maybe one out of twenty days my alarm clock wakes me up. I almost always wake up 15-30 minutes before it goes off. When I don't set my alarm clock, I sleep in, though. Even if I pull an all nighter, I still wake up before my alarm clock, so I never oversleep but I always miss out on that half hour of sleep. I'm too scared to set my alarm half an hour later than usual because I hate being late.

I use two different alarms. One has been known to be faulty.

I set the good alarm to the absolute latest time I can wake up.

The sometimes-faulty one, I set for nearly two hours ahead of when I normally wake up. I put it to where I purposefully have to move from bed to reset it. So when it goes off, I roll over, get up, reset it for an hour, and back to sleep I go.

At 6, when it goes off the second time, I reset it for 6:30, and go back to sleep. At 6:30, I'll reset it for 6:45 or 6:50...whenever I wanna wake up.

I'm weird, but it works for me.

Double snooze - from final wake up time to in the office, which includes shower, shave, dress & subway is 30 min flat - things like that make the hassle of manhattan worth it.
