I like Robert Swift and do think he is a decent player, however, the problem with him has always been staying on the court. He is always out of shape and injured.

Is Malick Badiane NBA ready? Last time I heard was that the Rockets gave up the rights to M. Badiane. Who's closer to being NBA material? Badiane or Joey Dorsey? How about the guy the Spurs drafted Dejuan Blair? Would the Rockets be able to sign him?
i just want to see dorsey bang down low in a real game. was he that bad that he couldnt even see the court for more than 10 min during the whole season????
Aaron Gray looks like a great pickup. Not sure why Bulls didn't keep him, they didn't know what they had. Aside from him, Bonsu and Mcdyes none of the other guys catch my eye. I'd rather see what Dorsey, Darryl and our summer league prospects show than signing any of the other guys.
This would be a pretty sick lineup: Brooks/Lowry Hamilton/Taylor/White Ariza/Battier Scola/Landry Stoudamire/Zaza
Besides being unrealisitic, this doesn't have anything to do with young players signing at the minimum. To the point of the thread, I agree with a previous poster who said that we simply need a big body who will run the court. I've also heard things about Swift's conditioning, but I like what I've seen in Gray. We don't even necessarily need someone to start every game, as I think small-ballin' will be our number one gameplan. But when we play the Shaqs and Howards of the league, we'll need someone to bang down low. If Gray can be had with the minimum, I say we jump all over that.
Aaron Gray would be a solid addition but he's restricted. The Bulls would be foolish to not match any offers for the minimum. Shelden Williams and Sean May are two intriguing possibilities. Two busts with NBA starter talent that are still young enough to "get it" and breakout at some point.
out of curiosity, why do you think the rockets would be interested in either? and why would either be interested in the rockets? the rockets are trying to rebuild, and develop young talent, not add aging players who will help them win a few extra meaningless games. signing either player won't get us to the playoffs, let alone the championship. i doubt that any player would take less money to play for a lotto team, especially players who are being courted by contenders.
