#1 It is not normal to dress up like a policeman and pull people over, it is bizarre and creepy.... nice touch by his father exploiting his position to get his son a uniform, not an abuse of power at all....... having said that, it was a long time ago, and I have not heard of him doing anything of the sort since he was a young man. It is a story, because it is so bizarre, but it would not keep me from voting for him.

#2 Are you serious? Everything thing about Obama has been closely monitored. If the guy takes a dump that is shaped like Bin Laden it is plastered all over the news.

Easy now, don't get carried away. There is a huge difference in being a serial murderer and a serial prankster.

How is this a practical joke though? Did he pull people over and say "just kiddin?" I don't get where the punchline would come in.

This should be taken seriously by voters though. It suggests he has an obsession with power and it should certainly be investigated. I don't think Romney will be a good President. I don't think Obama has been a good President, I don't think he has been as bad as some make it seem. However, it's ridiculous of "liberals" not to admit that Obama has not done what was expected of him.

I am worried about the next 10 years, regardless of who is elected come November.

#1 You're right, completely. It's not normal, it's illegal, it's dangerous, it sets a bad example, but he was a kid. So while you can't ignore it, you can certainly pass it off as something that was incredibly stupid and immature, but it was 50 years ago and people change A LOT. It's the underlying power issue I am concerned with.

#2 Obama is treated like God from the liberal press. Fox treats him like Hitler. It's so annoying. Today's mainstream media is nothing more than a propaganda corporation BOTH sides.

America should not get carried away with the fact that Romney did this or that. He could have been a p*rn star who smoked copious amounts of mar1juana, and that would not affect my judgement one bit with his regards as long as it didn't affect him in the present.

Americans should focus on the real reasons why he is unelectable; chiefly among them, the fact that he is being bought and paid by Wall Street, and is tentative at best with financial reform. That is a huge red flag.

One day people will realize this system is failing us. We are forced to choose each and every election between "bad" and "worse." Candidates spend too much time just trying to get money so they can bad mouth each other. The debates are a joke. The whole system is a joke.

Obama's the better of the two evils, he's at least pushing for something in the form, for example, the CFPB, and what no one is noticing is that while he's played with rhetoric, Wall Street is rapidly moving towards Romney.

If he seals the deal on getting Basel III and Dodd-Frank through, I can forgive him for being the recipient of such Wall Street largesse.

Interesting to note that many donated to both campaigns...

'12 election $$ situation is here:

    http://www.opensecrets.org/pres12/index.php

Obama is raising serious dough it would appear from both individuals and large interests. Not that I disagree with your original statement but I think the big moneyed interests all have a vested interest in keeping with the 'status quo'. I don't disagree with the lesser of two evils either.

The thing is that unless it's "soft" corporate money, the company names are attached to individuals affiliated to the organization---so an equity head of Goldman donates to Obama, and a Goldman trader belts out money to Romney...they both show up as "Goldman Sachs" donations.

So I wouldn't read too much into that particular aspect.

As long as there's a two-party system where money is king, this problem will never end with any candidate.

Because he is currently serving as

The President Of The United States.

That renders all that trivial stuff moot.

So no need to re- vet the man, he already has the job, but Mittens should have a full public enema?

How did you feel aboeut the "trivialities" of Baraka Sotero's Wrightous past? Are there contemproaneous posts here from you about W in 2004 and his military record? If so, what did you say? Was thenpast important then, but not now? If so, why?

    Absolutely

From all indications Romney has sociopathic tendencies to say anything to the audience his standing in front of.

Forget a birth certificate; I want to see a psychiatric evaluation before the election.

I think you guys are giving Obama enough of an enema with the hole born in Kenya thing, his childhood, his marxist father, his Reverend, his college year drug use, his "palling around with terrorists".

I mean, why are you whining now that it's your candidate getting probed up the wazoo?

This is what I'm talking about.

Mitt Romney Mocks Obama For Wanting More Firemen, Policemen, Teachers

After saying President Barack Obama does not care about the private sector, Mitt Romney on Friday dismissed unemployment in the public sector, saying the country does not need more firemen, policemen or teachers.

"He wants another stimulus, he wants to hire more government workers," Romney said at a press conference. "He says we need more firemen, more policemen, more teachers. Did he not get the message of Wisconsin? The American people did. It's time for us to cut back on government and help the American people."

What's funny is that he could have cited a dozen other government jobs or just vomited the word bureaucrats to get his message across; but he picked the two or three positions that literally make the world a better place.

Being overly ethnic or listening to a loud uppity black preacher vs. using family connections to steal, dishonorably serve and then skip out on a draft dodging National Guard slot. By the way, don't forget that "W" grew up in West Texas in the middle of civil rights and integration, I guarantee if they recorded his pastors' speeches or half the political speeches he heard they would have been Klan rallies.
