lol Miami and great city. It's full of pretentious people and transplants. It's not really a sports city either. Miami is so overrated as a city, it's a wanna-be LA when it's not even close to being on the same level as a city like LA.
You wear $600 loafers, have a few beautiful girlfriends, listen to Gloria Estefan and own a yacht. Haha, what losers. Keep me in Indy where I can practice all my rights as an American by carrying a gun on me at all times to ANY establishment I do so as I please.
Agree. And these guys think Miami = South Beach. South Beach is just a tourist trap where you buy over expensive drinks, food and clothes and any locals who hang out there are pretty much douchebags. That's like saying All of Houston = Washington Avenue. There are so many amazing, normal, family places around Miami like North miami beach, aventura, sunny isles, even north bay village. Miami is an AMAZING city, however south beach is a tourist trap pretty much filled with douchebags. cf.neters show how sheltered they are by not knowing this.
You might be a Pacers fan if you really think this year is ANY different from last year when the series was tied 2-2 and then Miami got motivated.
I think you got it wrong, most of the guys here would love that; don't know about Estefan tho. But you can still carry your gun on your yacht and do whatever you please on the open sea. With that self-defense gun law, you can even get rid of one of the girlfriends you want to dump while you are out there on your yacht and make it legal!
Somehow I don't think having access to beautiful beaches compensate for being below the poverty line. Miami is a great place to visit for vacation or to have a 2nd home, but the Miami lifestyle of the vast majority of Miami citizens is nothing like that. The economy is quite weak in Miami, unemployment rate is high, the average income low as hell, high per capita violent crime rate, low number of high paying jobs (eg > 200K per year)
Wow! I didn't know that just because living in Miami is cooler than living in Florida we should all be Heat fans! The reason why people like the Pacers is because of their players, not because of the living standards.
I was born and raised in Miami and I can attest to this ......Unemployed for a year.... Great place to be if you have money though...
