Since my prognostication record is otherwise pitiful, I'll point out that I called this one before Yao played his first NBA game.
the baseline spin move where he hooks the guy with his off arm. It' an offensive foul, but they never call it so more power to him.
i was under the impression that if he kept his arm bent as he spun then there wasnt a problem. if he extends his arm and curls around the defender then hes trying to gain an advantage. i saw this called sometimes when he does this move and in spinning his arm catches defenders in the upper body.....and i just complain that he shouldnt be penalized for being so tall!
