I'm not talking about DMo's past, I'm talking about the 2015 season and his play of late.

Jones is playing better than DMo so far this year... Get over it.

I'm not talking about his past either....Jones is just terrible defensively, deal with it. I mean, it's not like it is anything new.

Defensively DMo is a lot better than Jones even though he's not back to being as good as he was last season. Being better than Jones defensively is really not difficult. There's basically no PF in the NBA that Jones could competently defend one on one. I'm hoping eventually you learn enough to be able to realize that on your own.

Well he needs to outplay the people ahead of him first... He'll get there.

Maybe he's got soreness from the big minutes (relatively) he played a week or two ago.

DMo would be better utilized coming off the bench as the offensive focal point of the 2nd unit.

If he started alongside Harden and Dwight, he'd most likely end up as a spot-up 3 point shooter, and that'd be a waste of his offensive talent. Also, Dwight's offensive role has been reduced (specifically his post-up opportunities), and I think he would pout if DMo were given post-up opportunities while Dwight was on the floor.

Both DMo and Capela need to come off the bench. DMo for his offense and Capela to back up Dwight. Unfortunately, Jones isn't good enough to be a full-time starter.

LOL. Well then DMo is super, duper terrible defense this year... He's resorted back to falling down, he's too slow to make a play so he fouls, and he rebounds like a SG right now... He's averaging 5.4 fouls per 36 minutes or 2 fouls per 13 min per game.

Do you think those are offensive fouls Bobby? Or do you think he's too slow to properly defend right now?

It's hard for to take you seriously when you let that type of hyperbole out.... You make it sound like you don't watch Rocket's basketball with that sort of nonsense.

JB doesn't play Dmo enough. If you give him the ball good things will happen: (1) if the double team comes, a 3-point shooter will be open. (2) if the double team does not come, he has a 75% hook shot.

But you gotta play him and run some plays for him!

The problem with this argument is that it ignores his improving play since it includes his stats from his first few games where he was noticeably rusty.

What did you think of his defense on Anthony Davis tonight?

I agree with this post. The answer to starting PF is just not currently on the roster. PF position has plagued this team forever. I wished the team could have somehow picked up Millsap. He would be perfect for this team.

DMo played ALOT last year. He isn't getting any burn this year and it's showing in the team game. He's basically the only player we have who moves constantly and makes the extra pass when needed. He's also a great help defender

DMo still hasn't beat out TJones on 3 pt % this year....

    2015
    DMo eFG% 54

    Capela eFG% 61

    Jones eFG% 50

    Howard eFG% 59

Well, in the grand scheme of things, we have no chance of winning unless Dwight is motivated.

Motivated Dwight + improperly used DMo >>>> Properly used DMo + lazy Dwight.

His last two games, including tonight, were his worst in my opinion.

His defense didn't really stand out to me with Anthony Davis.

We should have just gotten some guy like Porzingins and all DMo and TJones fans would be on board because he would be the "complete package"

Low post scoring, face up jumpers, rebounds, blocks, mobile.......and so on

LOL - EFG is worthless when you have so few minutes.....but never mind you are a TJones homer.....

DMO> TJO - wait until you see their next contracts for how that will become easy for lay people like you to see.

I think DMo would be great as a 6th man when fully healthy.
