He has money, fines are nothing to him. Get a 4 team trade and we pick the assets and trade him to either Utah??? Scramento??? Chicago???
The real leverage the Rockets have is having him for 2 years more on his contract. I'm sure he cares about his career legacy such as career point or assist totals. Sitting out 2 seasons during your late prime years is devastating to those goals. If he doesn't want to comply, sit him. Sit him until he does.
Harden will be broke within 7 years of leaving the NBA he doesn't have the discipline necessary - what a shame. DD
Rockets are not in control of anything. They've been bending over for Harden and it's led them nowhere. All NBA teams are like the dirt poor trailer park single parent with a star kid who's gonna get them out of their life situation and bend over backwards for them. It's not an organization team game like baseball or football. There are no adults in charge, if there were, they wouldn't have any players (they'll all move to the lakers and play together with friends).
