90's nostalgia makes feel old (and it makes me laugh, too). My wife and I were watching a rerun of this 90's British show called "Cracker" with Robbie Coletrane. It's a about a police psychologist who helps crack cases. Anyway, the enormous phones, dot matrix printers and horrible clothes dated it incredibly. And then I realized that I was in my 20's back in a time that seems incredibly dated now. I guess it's probably how people saw the 1970's in the early 1990's. That reference, in itself, makes me feel old. Another thing that makes me feel old: I went to high school with George Burns.
Yeah I read earlier that there will be a remake of the Hulk that was out 5 years ago. It's been 5 years already! It seems like just last year when I saw that movie!

Knowing that I'm old enough to remember when dialing a phone required an actual rotary dial and being able to remember when the phone company leased telephones to customers rather than letting them buy them makes me feel old sometimes.
I'm not that old, but I had a pretty old feeling this year when I ordered Wrestlemania. I no longer watch wrestling, but I watched because Ric Flair was retiring and he was a boyhood idol. As the night went on and I saw so many wrestlers who I had never seen or heard of and then saw Ric Flair retire and saw how old the Boy Toy Shawn Michaels was...wow. I remember when he was jumping around in bright colored spandex one pieces, and now he looks like my old uncle. I realize this year for the first time I think that I will die someday. I mean we all know we will die, but I really realized that the clock is ticking for everyone. It reminded me of a country song by Clint Black (who also makes me feel old since he is basically a non-entity in music today) where he talks about time running out and says "The highest cost of livin's dyin', that's one everybody pays So have it spent before you get the bill, there's no time to kill."
Every time I walk into American Eagle to buy some shorts I think that. Then I think - should I be shopping for Dockers at JC Penny?

the other day, heard the Dr Dre verse "I been in the game for 10 years makin' rap tunes " and realized that same verse he made OVER TEN YEARS AGO. So updated it should say "I been in the game for 22 years makin' rap tunes ".....

i am only 23(turn 24 at the end of the month), I noticed last month I am getting more and more grey hairs... it is really freaking me out. and I have long black hair, and I am just really freaked out about having grey in my hair. I feel for you guys.
HA. What a bunch of geezers. Like OMG. I only feel really old when I realize that my niece is in high school. But then I remember that I'm Hispanic, and it all makes sense again.
