I'll bet our Chinese brethren LOVED the chorus of my Yao Ming Song but I wonder.... ...Do you think they got the part about Chewbacca? Wookies big draws in China? What about the Greeeeel reference??? I hope they liked it. By the way, that song is copyrighted. Both in lyrics and in performance. I consider my ass acceptably covered. I can't wait for the season...
Folks cannot believe I am "the ROXRAN", millions of people know my alias, even relatives have read my posts and refuse to believe I am the infamous "ROXRAN" ...it makes me feel like a star, especially when I wear my customized "ROXRAN" shirt to public places and I get wild eyed stares from folk and having them approach me and ask if I am from CC.net...It is amazing how many people visit this site even if they aren't members or don't post...
Does anyone else find it funny that this board is used as a SOURCE? I can see it now... "Rockets Timberwolves Talk Trade (HOUSTON) - Yao Ming could have help in the Rockets' frountcourt this fall. According to published reports on ClutchCity.net, the Houston Rockets and Minnesota Timberwolves may consumate a deal to send all-star forward Kevin Garnett to Houston for center Kelvin Cato, forward Dan Langhi and other considerations. The other considerations may include a sandwich and several long distance phone cards. Reports seem to be confirmed when sources pointed out that 'Minnesota really needs a center' and 'Garnett doesn't like [Timberwolves General Manager Kevin] McHale.'"
Hmmm.... Famous....nice Now about that new system on the left that identifies people...what happened to the time you joined etc? Kind of cool to see old timers around when we were still Clutchcity.com DD
Clutchcity.com is no longer anything but a registered named site...any thoughts of getting it back? os
Why? The only reason I can think of is hysterical raisins. Besides, I thought most everyone was in agreement that .NET was more appropriate for a basketball forum anyway!
I remember when it switched to .net... a whole bunch of you guys lost your original "joined" date. (Clutch included. LOL!) Can't remember if your post counts were affected. Wish I had registered back then. (sigh) I'm used to ClutchCity.net now. If ClutchCity.com is available and it's cheap we should have a fundraiser for Clutch or something to get it back. Either way, it's the best site on the Net!
Clutch already inquired. It is owned by some company that is probably going to use it for a auto dealership site.
I've always wondered why you guys made the domain name change. Sorry, but I didn't join the BBS till later on.
