Dude, just edit Palin out of the pic. There was no need for her in it, and you wouldn't have this D&D nonsense in here. Hell, people might actually start talking about the video.

The only thing I see being proven is that you are either unaware of what is wrong with your post, that or you are proving that you just don't care about the rules, because if you really did care about this topic you wouldn't go out of your way to politicize it... baiting the troll trap is not healthy forum behavior.

Using this issue to drive your political ramblings outside of the forum it's intended for

    lame.

sorry FFB, i'm not the one making this a D&D thread. Palin has spoken movingly about life with Trig, what a special kid he is (beyond his extra chromosome), and a very powerful voice for kids w/ SNs, and for their parents.

if you (or ya'll) can't see past your own political prejudices, that just underscores my point.

but do yourself a favor and watch the video- it's short.

I just don't get what we're supposed to say after that video, anyway.

    Cerebral Palsy is awesome!

Of course nobody here enjoys the fact that there are children with special needs. Do you honestly think that most of the posters here need this type of PSA? Do you think that we go out and make fun of special needs children (and adults)?

Seriously Basso you are smarter than that.

If anything you are doing a disservice for special needs children by politicizing the issue.

i'm not politicizing anything. a pictiure of sarah palin isn't "political" unless one makes it so.

unless of course, pictures of Obama, Sasha and Malia are similarly banned in this forum? if that's the case, i'll gladly edit the pic out of my post.

This is annoying. He trolls, he lies, he ignores the rules of the board...

But saying so is "giving him what he wants."

I guess that when Yao's slammed to the floor on a no-call flagrant it is an equal sin to complain to the refs. Whatever.

No, arguing with him and turning it into a 10 page thread like the plane thread is giving him what he wants.

If you just said "stop trolling" and ignored him then it would not be what he wants.

The pattern is clear and has been.

Bat, surely as an artist you are aware that there people who simply have behavioral/feedback patterns that are outside of the accepted norms; in the extreme, the psychopath that enjoys the agony of his victims. Basso yanks chains and loves the negative responses. His posts are calculated for effect but they purposely don't stray to the point of banning. The only strategy for dealing with him is to ignore him. If we could organize it so that he went a 10 or 20 threads with 0 replies he might go away. But, it's a little too fun to jump on the 'holier than thou' train.

I admit though, I look at his threads like a car wreck.

    Holy troll-filled thread Batman!

You know this is what he wants. This is entertainment for him. He gets people fired up and they start jumping on him and he ignores what he wants to and responds to those that he can keep playing his fun little game with. He's never going to stop doing what he does unless a moderator takes him out.

He posted the image of Palin knowing full well what the thread would turn in to and he got his way.
