I say let them both back in, but they need some caveats. FFB needs to apologize for what he did plus, since I don't think there's a way to do this through the board, he should be warned to not do anymore early morning drunk posts. That would eliminate the Youtube embedding by 90%. RM95 can't come back again if he pulls the registering new accounts move if he ever gets timed out again (He understands IP addresses, right?). Also, he should be forced to have bigtexxx and Tjorge on his ignore list. I believe he's on permenant ban from the D&D anyway, he shouldn't have any reason to read what they say because that's where they do most of their trolli...posting.
I met Blake and he seemed like a nice guy, I know that I am also prone to going off on people via the interweb, and more than a few times I have lost my cool and fatally cyber-wounded the souls of many. Even though I am generally a nice guy if you meet me in person. As far as taking away Fatty's youtube embedding capabilities, I wouldn't mind it in the least if everyone's youtube embedding capabilities were taken away, it gets annoying when music threads turn into 200 video clips posted.
RM95 seemed pretty cool when I met him a couple years ago, and Fatty - um, RM95 seemed cool. I voted to let Blake back in.
This has been a nice opportunity for TJ and texxx to attempt to get on a high horse regarding RM95's behavior. I don't know 95 and don't really care one way or the other, but it is amusing considering they both just got a warning and TJ still holds the distinction of external bbs stalking and posting of personal information in an attempt to humiliate...RM95. Fatty is a caricature of a drunken fool. No loss if he is gone but not painful if he is back. Is there such a thing as too many bans, clutch? In other words, if either guy is banned 3 or 5 times is there any point in letting them back in?
Wow, almost 50% of people are dicks. Why would any regular poster be bothered by someone being allowed to post. If you are such a baby that you can't handle reading what they say, utilize the security blanker, er ignore list. I can understand mods not wanting to deal with problematic posters, but everyone else needs to sack up.

Man, this is what happens when you are actually busy at work! I just saw this thread and let's see...where to start?? I actually voted for them to stay in timeout a little longer and here's why: it is pretty well-known that this isn't the first time that either has been banned. One can make the argument that if they weren't both so well-known on the board that they could not be given so many chances. I have met both of them in person and they seemed to be really good guys and quite opposite of what they are like on the board. I think that both should be let back in, eventually, but maybe another couple of weeks or so. I mean Fatty doesn't bring a lot to the board in terms of value other than comedic gold, so it would be good to read some of his adventures again as they always seem to be slapstick comedy at its finest. However, I do think that as long as Fatty continues to post his escapades that he will eventually say something or do something to warrant another banning - a classic catch-22 situation if there ever was one. But let him back in, zero out his post count, and make sure that he isn't able to post those blasted youtube videos anymore. Also, let this be the last time he will be able to come back. Zero tolerance - get banned one more time and that is it for the Fat b*stard. As for RM95, it would be somewhat amusing to see his post count zeroed out as well but I would rather seen that done to Fatty honestly. I'm with ima that I actually enjoy seeing him get upset because he does tend to lose it on the board (although I know I can't say that hasn't ever happened to me). He should be forced to have Trader_Jorge and bigtexxx on his ignore list. I do think he is a good guy and he brings a helluva lot more to the board than Fatty, but he seems to be running out of chances and re-registering multiple nicks doesn't do him any favors. Give him one last chance like Fatty and enact a zero tolerance (sorta like what was done to Nomar) - get banned one more time and you are gone forever from the board.
I think not being able to have access to this board is a huge punishment for any Rockets fan. Both posters have been here a long time and I voted for letting them both back. Busting them down to rookie status seems like a fair parole. I don't think either were intentionally malicious, just very careless. I've been around (lurking at least) since 96. I'd freak out if I couldn't come here any more.
Let them both back, RM usually has insightful posts and if FFB isn't here, who will fuel the smoking threads? There have been a couple of those that I will never forget! I couldn't live without the board and being able to post on it (just wish I had signed up sooner instead of lurking), I'm sure it is twice as bad for these guys based on their post counts. Pugs

We are all Bozos on this bus. Why anyone would be banned for anything short of deaths threats is beyond me. Just delete any threads that are too incoherent or self indulgent....from anybody. An edit that says " post deleted by Mods' is probably an adequate behaviour modification technique.
Just found the thread and voted to let them back in. I finally started to get along with Fatty the last several months (go figure!) and he's fun to read half the time (well, rather less ), which is better than average. RM95 is a great guy, based on what I've read of his stuff (and very frustrated that he can't get into D&D!). Just had another "moment." Heck, if the Bobbsey Twins can manage to hang around, why not? (nice idea, Clutch)
