then it's too bad for us. just money gets wasted, that is all. i know he's way past his prime, and this is no big men era of bball no more. but still,,,
Capela is just more active and plays significantly better PnR defense. Deters just as many shots as D12 and jumps better on 2nd jump. Also recovers to the paint much quicker after forcing ball handler wide.
We seem to be better offensively with Capella on the court My only problem with Capella is that his NBA balls haven't seem to drop yet and isn't as aggressive as I wish he'd be
Capela can be the guy, but he's got a lot of work ahead of him to get there. He obviously needs to bulk up a bit, but he really needs to be working on his hand-eye coordination to catch passes. Yao did this by doing tennis ball drills like crazy, I would put Clint on that same plan. He honestly has everything you need to be the guy.
Capela runs the floor and hustles, he plays with a purity that Dwight does not. Did you see in the 4th quarter Beverley and another player were another the basket diving for a loose ball, Dwight was RIGHT THERE and just stood there. He made no effort to get that loose ball.
Saw that but he has been doing that lately. Seems like his knee bands don't allow him to bend down quickly.
Dwight sucks now. Capela is not great but the team plays better when he is out there so I voted for Capela. It seems like every run we have is when Cap is out there.
I don't play Dwight after the 1st quarter in 2k. Having Capella/Dmo at the 5 and Beasley/Harrell at the 4 seems to work a lot better and be more fluid But then I know how Dwight is probably scared of injury this close to playoffs and can see a huge playoff run from him trying to get a max
Right now, I would bench Howard but I know that in general Howard is significantly better than Capela. Howard has been terrible since the trade rumors. JB is not experienced enough to shake him out of it. Would love to go into the next 2 years with Dwight and Capela locked up. There's a plus side to all this: Howard is destroying his own value, making it possible for us to keep him for a great price this summer. I bet Morey is thinking he'll match any offer upto $18-20m. The way things are going, I can see us keeping him for just under 15m, which would be a steal if we have the right coaching staff. Dwight's not worth the max but we have to overpay for talent, that's just how the league is structured.
It does seem that way. It's a shame he can't make free throws any better than Dwight. They are both killing us in close games with all the missed free throws. Just not good enough .
ha! Good Morning Deb is right. The anticipation of what thread Debbie starts next wakes up early each day.
Dwight has had multiple surgerys on his back, shoulders and has horrible knees. You really think he is gonna dive on the floor for a loose ball????
