Strategy: Clean house to bring together pieces for another attempted playoff push. Continue to acquire pieces for a possible trade for a superstar. But don't give up and start tanking YET.

Dragic- I would have offered him around 7 mill a year for 4 years. No more, no less. I would love to keep Dragic but one month of success during a shortened season isn't worth big money.

Asik- I would offer him a 3 year contract worth no more then 10 million. He just hasn't done anything yet.

    Lee- 3 years 12 million.

Lin- 4 years, 7 mill a year. Same thing as for Dragic.

Camby- Nothing. The S&T deal we got for him was great. He has maybe one more year before retiring.

Scola- Trade him for trade assets. Draft picks most likely. He is getting older and older, it's time to move on. He has been great for the Rockets but it's time to go in a different direction.

Kevin Martin Keep him, due to his lowered trade value. He is a dangerous scorer at the top of his game, but after a disappointing injure riddled season he is at the least valuable point in his career. If he hasn't made up for it by the trade deadline then we can think about trading.

Other Moves See what pans out. Augustine or Javale McGee would be great signings, but I would still pursue a star. All the picks and trade assets could entice a trade involving Bynum, Gasol, Howard, Josh Smith, etc.

^ Also, sign Aaron Brooks. Him and Kevin dominating the backcourt offensively, with Parsons doing his defensive thing, and a star in Gasol, Bynum, Howard, or Smith would be a playoff team. We'll see.

    Lin/Brooks/Machado
    Parsons/Lamb/Douglas
    White/Jones
    DMo/Patterson
    Bynum/Asik

Super defense against any Big 3. Enough fire power to score all game.
It would be nice to keep Kmart for 2013 free agency, and get CP3.

Deeeeeeep team that can challenge any elite teams.

build on the continuity and core group of players of just missing the playoffs with 9/10th ranking from last year.

Oh wait, we traded them all. Nevermind.

    i like what we're doing.

clear cap. move talent for future picks (since our talent was taking us no where). don't spent money on player that won't help win either a championship or the lotto (dragic, lee, camby, etc...).
