Harden is such a frustrating guy. this dude is all about sabotage. people really thought he was about to come back to Houston and be a teacher to Jalen, sengun and bari, loool.
James needs to actually back up his **** talking now. If he wants to be the Beard of old, he needs to play like him, and he just hasn't since he left. If he can recapture near to that form then he's your number 1 guy, otherwise he needs to realise that being the savvy facilitator Robin to a younger Batman is his best bet at being relevant again. He's ****ing up his legacy and it's awful to see as a fan.
Grateful? Stone was part of Morey's team Fine line separates the end of Morey's reign and the start of Stones. *I hate the free agent pickups of VanVleet and Dillon Brooks. Our 108 pts allowed is going to be outscored by our 96 pts per game average, because dumb and dumber (VanVleet&Dillon) are still going to average near 40% (FG%). *Coach is too much about his record of making the playoffs. Screwed up the Brook Lopez negotiations and will probably give our special young talent for an older declining Embiid or cheap knock off because Ime Udoka needs a vet net defender that VanVleet and Dillon can funnel the offense towards that stopper. Sengun ain't it. *Stone screwed up the Jarrett Allen - Caris LaVert T Prince deal *Because of a lousy Oladipo deal *For a lousy TPE *first round picks of TyTy, Garuba and Josh Christopher were given away for nothing. But hey, Rodions Kurucs was a steal though. Keep telling yourself Stone is a genius.....i think he is worthless
So? The Morey that put Harden on a pedestal and ran the organization into the ground? Stone walked into a MESS. Be grateful
You try to separate Stone from Morey, when Stone was working with Morey. I wouldn't be bragging about 3 years of being the bottom of bottom. You blame Silas when Stone has been equal parts garbage. You glorify ineptness.....like spraying perfume on doo-doo, doesn't make it filet mignon
Means nothing. Morey was the mastermind of everything. Did Stone get credit for Moreyball? No he did not I don't blame Silas for anything. He helped us tank for 3 years and gave us great young talent, cap space & Udoka. The tank was successful. We are looking very good. No?
You are gloating when the team has not achieved anything. If they win a championship, or at least make the Finals, then yes. But Stone might even see it. Cap Space mean shet when every superstar is signing an extension prior to their Free agency.
If you canned Stone, we wouldn't have had 80 million in cap space, with Jalen, Jabari, Amen, Sengun or Udoka as coach. You're okay with that?
Agree with OP. I was stunned that some folks wanted him back, shocked that the Rockets brass did also, until Ime came along.
