I've lived through losing to Pittsburgh during Luv U Blue, up 35-3 and losing to Buffalo, up 24-3 at KC and losing, the trading of D-Hop and finally the organization's decision to chose an Associate Pastor over the Franchise QB.....I CAN'T DO HOUSTON FOOTBALL ANYMORE!

Following the Texans is kinda like a bad Netflix series. You know it's garbage, you know you'll never get that time back, but you're caught up in the story and you gotta see what happens next.

Look at it like this, Houston hasn't been to a Super Bowl since it's been INSTITUTED. That says a lot

Same here. My interest was waning in the NFL game the past few years anyway. It's just not as entertaining, and I can't put my finger on why. The Texans kept doing stupid thing after stupid thing, then they locked up BoB and PROMOTED him. Then they traded dHop and I was done.

Every now and then I tune in for the lulz. My NFL attention is basically trolling GamePass looking for decent football. Not easy to find anymore.

I am a Texans fan to spite Pancakes McClain since he is a Titans fan.

 

Any split loyalty I had to the Titans ended with Jeff Fischer's termination. It's similar to Cowboy split loyalty when they fired Tom Landry. I was a Cowboy fan in the days before the Super Bowls, but TOM was there.

 

FYI, I'm so NOT connected to Texans that I have no idea what y'all are talking about. When I last checked in, JJ Watt was suffering through a couple of injury plagued seasons and we were wondering whether he could make it back to an elite level.

I used to be a fan just being a Houstonian and being happy to have the NFL back. But now that Cal has somehow been entranced by the Easter Bunny I am actively rooting against them. I'll probably hate watch every game this season and enjoy it tremendously. I know that it's possible to have a quick turnaround in the NFL but these guys are rotten from the inside - I just don't see it.
