uh i think we understand the difference between words and actions-i dont need a lecture on that

maybe im a fool but that stanza seems to make me draw an inference of rape

also it is tacky to express your emotions in this way imho

Nearly 6,000 murdered in cold blood and you are concerned about 'words'?

I take it you have complained about the violent content of various forms of entertainment before...?

no, i ignore it myself when listening to lyrics like that, which i rarely do, since im a rock and roll/metal guy myself, but when its thrown out there as an attempt to humor us and can explicitly see the lyrics, i tend to approach it more critically, plus this isnt about rap "as an artform," its about the fact you are writing this kind of lyrics in response to one of the greatest human atrocities ever...

plus these words are "actions" in a sense-because without the act of you typing them they never wouldve come into existence and is this the message you want to send about yourself and views on these issues to the rest of the bbs

There are plenty of better ways to express your emotions than this method, and while it is within your right to create these lyrics, i think it is a tacky way of showing your anger and sends the wrong message to society.

is that really the best you can come back with; that my friends is some high intelligence commentary right there

as for my "women"-i would never refer to lady friends of mine as women-like theyre property, and i treat and write about them with compassion and respect not condemning them to this kind of lyrical representation of harrassment

And our society is not full of expressions of 'anger'?

The US Military is apparently en route to express some 'anger' as we type.

Anger is a natural human emotion. When certain anger becomes action, then you have problems.

And the actions against Afghani women committed by the Taliban are real.

So I hope that the US "gets" the "really bad dudes" and that no one is offended by that.

i never said anger isnt real nor are the real life actions occurring in certain parts of the world

I was mentioning that are many better ways of channeling your anger than this idea and that the response given in the lyrics seems to contradict your purpose on which you wrote.

That is some great "high intelligence commentary" displayed by yourself.

Of course, assuming that you are a member of the Taliban, I guess you would be offended.

Will you condemn all movies that display any violence from here on? Music with violent lyrics?

You're acting like a troll Spurs fan with your attempts to get reactions from posters by talking about raping women.

    Get some class...

Find a mention of "rape" in the original post. Perhaps you are simply reading into it what you would like to see?

That's just wrong. I don't see how anybody could read such a thing and interpret it differently than BGM is doing.

You just posted a poem advocating raping Muslim women. That's either naive or evil.

There is NO redeeming qualities about this post NOTHING! It's so idiotic it's beyond words. How writing a "poem" about rape and trying to put it into stereotypical rap form is a good thing I'll never know. And then to defend it by claiming the people ripping it are calling you "Anti-American" goes beyond words.

How could we possibly get rape out of that!

    Assumptions:

    1. Said words advocated rape.

    2. Said words advocated raping all Muslim women.

You missed the other parts that 'apparently' advocated violence.

    When will it end?

Can one now express that they want to see 'violence' done to an enemy of this nation, or is that taboo?

Can one display the flag, or is that a symbol of oppression?

It's nice to see all of you so concerned that no one is offended, but in doing so you paint a picture of what America is about to become.

The thought police will always exist, be they left-wing, right-wing or whatever.

MrSpur, you should stick to Spur talk, an area where you can make some intellectual and thoughtful contribution even if you are hardheaded about it (it is ok there, I would expect you to be a homer). Your posts in the general forum however are based on either completely witless borderline NAZIesk rhetoic (I know better to think this is really what it is) or designed to do nothing more than piss people off. You should back the f*ck away from this crap.

I guess Mr. Spur found another thread to make an ass of himself.... It seems like we'd all be well served by just letting him rant and not responding to his bullsh#t....
