My apologies but for some reason my ankle has been very tender today. I forgot to grab my phone on my way to work so I couldn't call you Biggie. I would have posted about it earlier but the computer at work has all kinds of security blocks on it and I can't get on clutchfans there. I think I need to just rest my ankle for the upcoming league anyway. I think my game is pretty fresh right now so I can probably afford to take some time off. I rushed back after my last ankle injury and it's never been the same
yea we are alot better team with you 100%...even though you at 75% can still do all the things to help us win. you can dominate at will if you feel like it. I tweaked my ankle at the beginning of tonight and was a step slow all night. shot is still terribly off but I got a few weeks to fix it. see more of yall out there next time...
Sorry guys couldn't make it to the court. I came home from school at 4:00 and decided to take a little nap till 6:30. My plan was good but my act wasn't as good and i slept till right now. Again I am sorry for saying that i will show up and not coming.
Thanks for the confidence but I'm not so sure about dominating at will. I believe my average for C-league was 16 but probably only about 40% shooting. I'm personally not too proud of that. I think we all shot worse than usual against the trees, so hopefully it will be easier to get good shots in D-league. I can't wait to start but I definitely want to be in tip top shape. I want to rest my ankle over the weekend, but I'd be up for another Monday night at that park we played at this week. Anyone esle interested?
Ok so I planned on resting my ankle over the weekend, so I went to the park down the street just to shoot some jumpers with my friend tonight. Soon after we got there, a couple of guys asked us to play 2 on 2 and me, finding it nearly impossible to turn down a game, accepted the challenge. All was well until about halfway through the game when I noticed that my right Achille's was tender. I played through it but couldn't explode at all and sometimes it actually hurt to the point of making me wince. Now that I'm home and have been off of it for about 4 hours now, it has gotten really tight and sore. Hopefully it's just a tweak and will be gone by the time I wake up tomorrow, but who knows. I really want to heal up for D-league but I don't want my game to suffer as a result. Damn catch 22's!!!
I usually think that the word rest means sit back and relax...stay off the ankle. I might have to look that up...
although no one's clamoring for us back on the team, of course.. where's some good spots just to get some games? competitive, semi-competitive, etc
You're more than welcome to come play with us when we play. I'll post when we play again. Maybe Clutch you can decide where we play this time since everyone has been driving out of their way to get to the galleria area lately.
The past 2 spots havnt been too bad to go to...although I would still like place a bit closer. Not sure where that is exactly, I just want to play and get my game back on track. are we scheduling for another monday/thursday this week?
