Good recap. Don't forget the foul we had to give with 6 seconds left. We took the ball out of number 1's hand and forced a heave by one of their non-shooters. That was good clock management at the end. Smart decision by us to take the last shot of the game. If we miss we duke it out in OT instead of giving them a last second chance to win the game. Gutsy game by all. My g/f on the sideline was saying the old man on the bench was rooting for TBA and barking out orders during the game. She couldn't stand him so she purposely stood in his way to film the game and ignored his requests to move. I might have had to pull an antonio davis and go into the crowd. I'm sure you guys would have been fine w/o me though hahaha. I have yet to step it up at all this season, but I'm basically playing a hustle defensive role. I hope to contribute sometime this season.
Yeah, I heard that man in the stands a lot. As I was shooting my three, he yelled out something - so after it went in, I was sure to stare him down. Sorry bout the bad game ... I was a bit frustrated at not being able to move like I would want. While I did take out my punishment on the rim by bricking repeated shots, I did get a couple of good picks and planted a nice elbow into the ribs of their white guy. Some might call it a cheap shot, but the way that the refs were not calling any sort of reach-ins, I had to pull a Barkley and establish dominance.
I think we were all frustrated and didnt play anywhere close to our best games... We have to admit though, besides the reach ins, they played decent D. They played you like you were the 2nd coming of tmac or something...they had you surrounded for most of the game and if you did get a shot up, there was no call on a foul. Overall just a terrible game but all of us for the exception of Clutch...and to tell you the truth, he could of done more. We were still able to get the win though and thats all that matters...to overcome all of what was happening is a good sign atleast. clutch, on those highlights, just cut out the last 2 minutes of the game cause thats the only thing worth watching again.
Weren't we down six points with three minutes left? I remember being down three, and one of TBA's big forward knocks down a three to put them up six. I was thinking, dude that better not be the end of the season. Video Request. Can you have a seperate clip for the last three or four minutes?
Im so ready to get back on the court. Im going to take a good long shoot around session monday since i will be at work starting tomorrow for basically 24 hours a day with All Star here and all the parties, im sure my shot will be off so i want to make sure i come out and play where i left off.
how do you know we play at 8? The schedule hasn't been updated online..or are you talking about a pick up game?
Christ Temple played VTG all exclusive at seven pm. I don't know who won the other games because they played after us. We're playing either Back in the Day or STG-3. We didn't play Back in the Day, but we did play STG-3. This is the team that went into Double OT with.
I'm pretty sure we'll be playing BAck in the Day. Their only REAL loss was to Christ temple. The other one was a forfeit. They got size and shooters. We'll definitely have our work cut out for us but if clutch and stack are hitting, we'll be fine.
Yeah i did read the recap...sorry..it was one of those times while i am at work that i didn't wanna go back up and read it and find it even though it was at the end so i posted a message. I always read the recaps and completly enjoy them
I know biggie, van, clutch, josh, omega, and myself all said they were probably showing at the apt tonight (7:30) but I just want to make sure...last Thursday I showed up and NO ONE was there, waste of gas. ROLL CALL!
yea, i went last week too. i'm on the fence right now. played some ball last night and i dont' think i warmed up properly. my hammy is hurtin' a bit.
Some reason a lot of my friends are out of town. Don't know why. I'm still calling around so i'll let ya'll know about lunchtime to see how many people I got.
