YM verses Amare Stoudemire

    Amare is a scoring PF. Power, power, and more
    power. Like Kemp. Raw talent. Or like Chris Webber.

    He'll get better at scoring and "should" improve
    his FT shooting in the next 3 years.

    But, he wont have the total domination that
    Yao will have later.

    Yao's problem is strength and speed.
    Amare will never learn how to pass like Yao.
    Some will say that he wont need to. But I say,
    hogwash. If you can score, then you should learn how to pass.

    Imagine Yao with Theo Rattlif's speed and quickness.

    Actually, Yao will probably be more like Tim
    Duncan, than Theo.

    But, still enough speed and strength to dominate.

    Is Amare Stoudemire the best 1st year player to ever come straight out of high school? I think he might be.

    Yes, he is.

    But he a 20 year old former HS player.

    Kobe, O'Neal, McGrady, Garnett all were
    18.

    That's why they struggled.
