Any impressions? I saw the mini burgers at JITB a few days ago and was very tempted to try it out.

Umm, I'm not sure what you were expecting? It's a portion of their sirloin meat with some grilled onions, cheese and ketchup. The bread is lacking, but otherwise it isn't bad. Much better that the Burger shots at Burger King.

Now, if you're expecting a White Castle type slider, you will be dissappointed. These taste nothing like that. But of all the mini-burger/slider style restaurants, the only one that comes even remotely close is Krystals, and that's a shame because those really define the term "slider."

And I've been to several local joints, like the bitty burger barn and Little Big's. To be fair, JITB tastes more like a fast food version of the sliders at Little Big's than it does to a White Castle version.

(version of Little Big's slider shown below)

I don't really plan on eating the stuff, but the commercial is A++ material.

Little Big's has excellent sliders. Fries are the best I've had too.

It wouldn't be quite so embarassing without the chipmunk voices. But it's a great song. Jack can croon.

You might as well order a Jumbo Jack and cut it into pieces.

tried them both. The BK's weren't as good imo. The sirloin JITB beat the regular cheeseburger type from BK by my experience.

That said, they're all fast food... how good did you expect them to be? No way they were going to be as good as the commercial.

JITB's advertising team is fantastic. When you consider how low the franchise was in 92-93 with all the E-coli deaths, and realize that "Jack" showed up in 94 - it's amazing how the perception of the company has changed with advertising.
