He's playin for the nets, garbage time starts in the 1st/2nd quarter a lot of games... however, he got most of his points in the 3rd quarter, when the hawks still had their starters out, it's stupid to make things up.

Anyway, I agree that he probably isn't starting material right now, but you really can't ignore his efficiency on the offensive end. He'd be an ideal 6th man, imo.

Efficiency? Are you out of your mind???

Not only is he the single worst defender in the NBA, he has the efficiency of a PF Eddy Curry... I can't even watch the guy.

    49% fg, 38% 3pt, 80% ft.

He is scoring the ball efficiently. Notice how I said "on the offensive end."

I already agreed that his defense is garbage, but you don't average 1.2 bpg being the 'single worst defender' in the nba.

I understand that you dont like Yi, and its ok if you dont watch any of his games. At least dont make things up, keep the hatred to yourself and get the facts straight.

Eddy Curry led the league in FG%... Would you consider him an efficient offensive player? FAR from it... The same goes for Yi... People think Stromile Swift has a low basketball IQ.

4 Assists and 23 turnovers so far this season.

(BTW, Stop putting up false numbers. He is shooting 46% fg, 36% 3pt through 11 games...)

40% FG and 34% 3FG for his career...

If the Nets management picks Yi over Lopez, they deserve to be a 3-win team.

Is it YI's fault that Net sucks this season??? It's a crappy team and don't blame it just for one player. Fact is that Yi couldn't bring Net more wins, Lopez either!

I was basing his stats off the games since he's returned from injury, my fault for not clarifying. He's only played 7 games since.

Yes since coming back form injury, he's been efficient scoring the ball... the numbers don't lie.

    The haters are so hard

And i dont understand why it's so hard to face the fact that the hated player grows up

We see the positive side while they only see the nagetive. If you dont let us know you are hating something/somebody you are not losing nothing

Jeez, one'd think you are talking about Rafer Alston with all that hatred you spew.

Yi has been largely a disappointment so far in the league, but there is no denying that he has been scoring the ball well since the injury.

And Eddy Curry can probably eat Yi for lunch, literally.

Fact is you are looking at a mere 7 games stats. Yes, in these 7 games since returned from injury, Yi has improved and played well overall offensively but the last 2 games he has been struggling to score.
Usually players come back from injuries will have hot hands for the first few games. So whether Yi has finally got 'it' offensively we will need to discuss it after another 20 games.

Wow, Yi got called for an offensive foul when the nets were down by 2 with secs left. I think it was Devin Brown who ran into Yi and flopped. I can't believe they called that an offensive foul.

It was a horrible call. Quite possibly a make up call for Chris Paul on the other side.
