Typical trait of Chinese men's soccer player maybe.

I don't like what I see in Yi. You don't show up late for a photo session while your senior, more famed compatriot waits patiently for you. You don't play p***y against other front court players in NBA, only go wild on your own countryman, whose foot injury would be aggravated by your suddenly found aggressiveness.

This Yi kid annoys the heck out of me. That said, I don't wish him to fail.

This trade wouldn't make sense for Seattle, who admits they won't make the playoffs next season. The Bucks have higher hopes and want the immediate impact of a superior player.

I am just talking from the value perspective. One would say if all NJ got was Jeff Green for RJ, they got less than what they got. And further it is very hard to say Yi has more value than Jeff Green.

They should get rid of Wince, who teams should avoid like the plague.

It's sad to think that we drafted RJ and traded him for Eddie Griffin....that was definatly a one sided trade

Richard Jefferson can't like having to play for perennial doormat Milwaukee.

    or

    living there for that matter.

Great news for NJ. Now their bench will be graced by the butt of Yi for 48 minutes.

Have you even taken a look at the Nets roster before you said that? Who do you think will play the 48 minutes at PF? Boone? Krstic? Swift? or the rookie Lopez? The PF position is for Yi to lose.

Looks like the Brooklyn Nets just grabbed a huge piece of the Chinese NBA market.

They Nets dumped salary and now Jay Z, Beyonce, Nike, and the rest of his marketing team will be courting Lebron to play for them in Brooklyn with offers of Jay's private jet and yaught whenever needed, a rap album, and whatever else the guy could possibly not even think to ask for. They'll tell him Clevland isn't helping him win, he needs a bigger market for Chinese endorsements playing with Yi, and he already took the Cavs to the Finals and doesn't owe them anything else. Good luck on the Knicks getting him! They can tell him he can play with Starbury! :D

The pieces are starting to fall in place for the Nets.

A lot of people hating on Yi way too much, he came from an inferior league, and different culture, many college kids can't even adjust smoothly yet you expect Yi to. He showed flashes of what he will be. Give him a bit more time.

i don't think their problem last year was talent. it was the team, coaching, and injury. big guys just didn't fit in. they still don't have legit post up guy. it's gon be much of the same thing. when they make shots, they gon win, if not, lottery again. even though i agree that rj>simmon+yi at the moment. simmon is worthless.

Yi was burned out from overplay. Not strictly in NBA shape + playing nonstop since last year + frontloading extended minutes for a rookie. He was fine up until the end of December
