My bad, what was Stevie's average his last games at the Knicks?

I am just saying that I think Carter isn't as valuable as people think. He played well on a bad team. Maybe if we could steal him I wouldn't mind it. But I just don't think he's as valuable as everyone seems to keep saying.

Excellent move for the Bucks. It was only a matter of time before Yi demanded a trade and/or figured out he can't hack it in the NBA plus ridding yourself of Bobby Simmons and his horrific contract is definitely an added bonus.

Why NJ did this? You be the judge.

you seem to have a dislike for players with talent, seriously, and that was a ridiculous statement

That was... a shocking trade if I can say the least... Who do the Bucks draft now?

I think it pretty clear that NJ has been shopping Carter and Jefferson in an attempt to clear cap space to make a run at Lebron James.

11, 3, 3. Carter has shown no signs of regressing to the same degree as Francis. People just forget about him cause he plays for the Nets. He's still spectacular. He's statistically better than T-Mac in every category except assists.

I'd trade Battier, BJax and 2 first round picks for him in a heartbeat.

No, I just don't like Vince Carter. Or Shaq. Or Kobe. I think that's it. ;) I like Yao and Tracy.. they have talent.

Edit: Maybe I should add I like Richard Jefferson... does that help?

CharlieV would their PF or Bogut if they start Gadzuric at C. Anthony Randolph sounds more of a better fit/replacement now Yi is gone.

Yeah, that's basically what I was implying with the "you be the judge" comment. Maybe they're clearing future cap space? Maybe they really like Yi?

Last I heard, Charlie V. was a malcontent out there in Milwaukee. If I were them I'd go PG at the #8 spot.

Great trade for the Bucks. All 5 of their remaining fans should be very happy.

I don't know exactly what the Nets are thinking, but obviously next season has been thrown in the garbage can.

Well, hasn't LeBron said that he wants to dominate the Chinese market or something like that? Teaming with Yi would help with that, and maybe that's just what the suits in NJ are thinking.

Carter is soft like the ice cream they serve at dairy queen.

however, you can't compare him to steve francis who can't even make as a backup in new york, and dropped by portland for jared jack, and possibly have zero pt behind the likes of luther head and aaron brooks

From what I've seen of Yi, he needs a lot of work and there is a chance that he'll never be very good. And Bobby Simmons at this point is just a bad contract.

I say that Milwakee this real hands down. Now the question is: do the Bucks have too much offense? There is only one ball to share after all.

That edit option would be nice.

I guessed there's something wrong with Tmac and Vince that run in the family. Totally unmotivated.

I guessed NJ is trashing next season for a higher lottery pick.

Obviously the Nets want to have cap room for Bron-Bron in two years, so they took on Simmons' contract. And they still have their draft picks? WOW.

Nets are positioning themselves for the big FA pot in 2010.

Simmons contract expires then. Lebron and Wade are FA's. Nets are moving to new building in Brooklyn.

Nets aren't going to win anything in the next couple of years anyway. So, why not get ready for a new building and being WAY, WAY under the cap with a brand new building in Brooklyn...

Sounds like a plan to me.

LeBron and Jay-Z are close. I say Bron coming to the Nets. And still has all them picks for sucking the next two?

Rod Thorn is a FREAKIN genius.
