Wow that guy is crazy athletic. He's gonna be better than Yao and be right up there with Garnett/Dirk/Duncan
wtf do you think this guy "sucks"? 11/6 as a rookie in 26 minutes is very good. hell those are good stats even if you're not a rook. I'm sorry. but you do come off as a racist when u say stuff like that. lotsa guys also give black qb's a hard time.
He needs a player to play good for 3-4 years before he can conclude that the player doesn't suck. So all players with less than 4 years of NBA experience suck in his eyes. Or perhaps he has different standards for players from different parts of the world?
What exactly do you expect from Yi? Give me a player or two to compare him with and expected points and rebounds per game.
I made the mistake of watching part of the 1st half tonight against the Nuggets. Just pathetic. The Bucks are very hard to watch. They are down by 30 at halftime! I give up on watching Yi. I wish him the best and will catch his highlights.
Bucks suck at offense and defense. And the main thing is Larry K sucks. Terry Stotts is better coach than LK. It's just a poor decision to fire Stotts.
He has very little shots at the perimeter, so he's not like Rashard. He did take 8 shots on that one little spot on the right. I couldn't say who to compare him to. Though he does like to take those midrange shots, which reminds me of David West on the Hornets. He seems to compare well to David West. David West- Career Avg 27.1 min .482 %fg .316 %3p(He is shooting .357% this year, exactly the same as Yi) .805 %ft 12.4 pts 6.5 rebs 0.6 stl 0.7 bl 1.36 to Yi- 27.9 min .481 %fg .357 %3p .817 %ft 6.0 reb 0.6 stl 1.0 bl 1.54 to David West's shotchart.
Forgot to put Yi's points per game in. Yi couldn't do anything against the Nuggets tonight. Everytime he got close to the rim, Camby, on his way to a triple double (10 pts, 11 rebs, 10 blocks), was there to turn him away.
Yi's numbers look pretty good to me. His field goal percentages are respectible and I think we'd kill for someone to have stats like that for us.
Watching the highlights from the Bobcats game really impresses me. This was my first time seeing him in NBA action (I missed the Rockets vs Bucks). And judging by how his stats look, he may be a fantasy monster next season once he gets some PT under his belt!!
