Point being? Hill is a far better defender, rebounder and prospect.

No sane GM would take Yi over Hill. There is a reason the piss poor Wizards decided against bringing him back.

And Yi never got to play within a winning team, with winner team mates and a HOF in Kmac.

People are so quick to judge. Have any of you actually seen Yi play. Yi does not suck. Were any of you aware that when Yi got minutes he produced. When the Nets gave him 32 minutes a game he averaged 12 ppg and 7 rbs with 1 block. He is a legit NBA player while Hill is still in the process of proving that.

I have seen him play and he sucks. His career TS% is under .500. He's pathetic.

    Hill sucks too.

He's only 24 and he still has room to improve. I'm not saying Yi is a star but he's worth picking up. I would of rather picked up Yi then Samhan, Jeff Adrien or any of the other pick ups the Rockets made this off season

No. Yi would have a better effect on the Chinese market simply because people see more potential from Yi. Yi, being a legit 7 footer and a not-too-bad rebounder/defender, has a better chance of becoming a real contributor to some teams than Lin. I am not saying Lin is bad, but to be honest, to compete as a PG in this league is pretty tough. Now if you compare Yue Sun and Jeremy Lin, there ability of attract Chinese market are roughly on the same level --- because not many people would believe in them until they actually do it.

You have to admit he lied about the age. That is very common for Chinese to enter school.
But he is not old, 26 and still got to improve hopefully under Kmac!

How about this argument, Yi signing would be much better than all the other guards/forwards/centers we've been signing right?
