It is not like there aren't plenty of great business people in this country such as enron exectutives and madoff.

So this is suppose to currently China is much more a pure capitalistic country where business people can get away without much regulation in many fields.

Oh by the way, heads will roll (literally) unlike in this country where people get a slap on the wrist for costing people billions in many cases.

This is actually not for Yallmean but for I am not a real cheetah.

    An ode to K T P

There once was a tether to Kowloon,
    which survived many a typhoon,
but we'll cut it one day,
and float the island far away.
    Galveston, your guests arrive soon.

If it was me and I really wanted Chinese to respect Uighur, I'd have to refrain my itchiness to throw out quick excuses for my people killing 156 innocent others.

And it is not a good time to demand anything for the murderers side, except harsh punishments.

Also, no way China will pay slightest attention to Chinese haters' demand made on TV show in USA.

Obviously you are wrong Sammy. That's a lie against peaceful Uighurs in a peaceful protest. just like Tibet in March of last year.

They were staring a bonfire with their Han neighbours until the cops showed up.

There are criminals in every race, don't stereotype the whole race.

    They should.
Look it's easy to point fingers. Racial riots like this one is not unique and they are often complicated. I am also enraged by the violence, but at the end of it cooler minds have to prevail.

Those who violated others' rights deserve appropriate punishment.

Like it or not, his position is easy to be sympathetic at and Beijing has to pay attention.

By whatever standard, if a guy ranting blank slogans on a TV show in the US can get more sympathy than the 156 dead bodies, you know this place is rotten.

and Americans are sympathetic to every anti-China stuff? surprise.

I did not stereotype. Of course the majority Uyghur people wants to live in peace too. This is EXACTLY what the government want, peace. That's the reason the minority races are given the previleges over the Han people. Why would the government spend all the energy to keep alert in these regions if people can live in peace. Too bad these religious driven, western world supported terrorists are destroying everyone's hope. What makes you think the government will consider even step an inch back on the policies and security in these regions after these bloody events.

Ya, exaclty, problems can only be solved with cooler minds. Then why do all the western media support this kind of bloody maddness actions, lie about everything to get people into burning minds?
