Not really. If McCain passed on a story from say a policeman or a soldier that turned out not to be true, I would not think that was a great reason to vote for or against him or that it merrited a NYT story.

This may not be the place to post this, but it is becoming clearer and clearer that Democrats need to be worried. About six months ago, I figured there would be no way a Republican would stand a chance at winning an election. Every week, it appears more and more that McCain is going to sidestep right into the White House and Democrats are going to have nobody to blame but themselves.
Join the club. I've been saying this for a while. It would prove the Dems don't deserve both houses of congress together with the presidency. If Hillary ends up being the nominee (unlikely), they definitely won't get it.
