Despite the coke operation, Omar's been nice to us all year and vice versa. She could have been lying her ass off to us about Omar saying he was another eye witness. The only interaction with O about this was when she was initially throwing the charges on us. We caught Omar outside and brought up the topic and how she claimed that he agreed to everything as a witness as well as the repair man. And that's how we found out the repair man worked for Miriam as well as Omar. Really all what Omar said was "Don't worry, I'll talk to her"
So I suppose he's just a blind foot soldier. Perhaps Omar had nothing but good things to say about us to her so master Miriam was just planting seeds into his ear with a white lie.

That's EXACTLY What I kept telling Caleb!! I knew that process just didn't make sense! I'll have to fine comb thru the lease, but she's made us pay for every repair bill and said she was "Already being nice by paying for the exterminator" that came the first week into moving in.. Or perhaps should I bring the lease during the lawyer consultation???

Alright..
So we move in and meet Omar. Nice guy. Has a wife and a teen daughter (looks maybe 17 [not attractive what-so-ever, bcuz I know yall were wondering and/or plotting for me to have sex with her already]) And the first person who Omar met was Caleb and at the end of that interaction O was like "Oh and if you need anything... you know.. anythingggg. And I mean if you're looking for anythingggg......... let me know" And kind of gave him a weird vibe.

When I talked to him, I got the same thing. He was like "Yeah we're always up through all of the hours of the night but we're quiet you wont have to worry about us" amongst other things that just sounded like an attempt to set up tidbits forming the wool over the eyes or pre-explain any funny behavior.

It was just so funny and ironic becuz we joked around about him pushing some kind of heavy drug at first but every week after just supplied more and more weight to our joke theory becoming true.

I'm an insomniac. When I go on errands, I wont hesitate no matter the time (1am-4am, w/e) So you'll see a few random cars with random creepy looking dudes coming in and out during the day.. but DAMN. Anywhere from midnight to 4, when the rest of the neighborhood is asleep, this guy'll have at least 2-3 cars pulling up per hour, sometimes more. To the point that I would be leaving as some random creeper is leaving. By the time I get back 30 mins later, there's another car with another creeper either coming or going. And ALL these dudes look SKETCH. So he can't be pushing weed. We havent smelled anything and I imagine a weed dealer wouuld see more "normal" looking people. These people ALL looked like they couldn't roll their sleeves up in public or had a burnt spoon in their pocket.

One of the first nights I came home late at 3am, I pulled in to the drive way. And Omar bursts thru the front door running to the drive way like he was about to run up on and rush me lol. And as soon as he realized it was me he just stopped dead in his tracks awkwardly like "Oh..................... Hey Travis" turned around and calmly walked back in. SO random.

More of these little incidents added up and things almost became concrete when I had some friends coming over to stay at the new place for the first time. The duplex is a lil confusing as.. Omar lives on the right side, which looks like a front door. And we live on the left side, which looks like a backyard. So people always confuse Omar's side for OUR front door. Well, my friends get into town and of course head to Omars side and entered the side garage thinking we were in there but walked in just in time to catch Omar and some strange dude doing a bump off of the table!

So that pretty much confirmed our suspicions true.

Things became more questionable as far as Miriam's involvement when things just seemed like it was way too convenient for Omar to pull all of this off. Little things here and there. For instance.. Due to the set up of the house (my room in particular) there isn't a cable outlet and you have to go thru a special step to install it in that room which would cost 30 bucks, but once you do it, it's set for future tenants and the problem's solved. Due to that extra step, I just need to get Miriam to sign off on it - which she REFUSED to do for NO reason given. Yet Omar has SURVEILLANCE CAMERAS installed outside facing all of the front of his place..

These and the little things that add up just make this whole scenario smell funny and the stench keeps growing stronger. I think Miriam is aware of Omar. And I think she may be the Mama Hen of the operation.

OMAR'S STORY ABRIDGED
- Suspicious/funny behavior since we moved in
- Immediately suspected him of selling heavy drugs
- Constant foot traffic through out the day
- CRAZY foot traffic from mid-4am
- All guys that come thru are mid 30's-mid40's and look very addict-ish
- Peculiar situations with Omar at odd times of the night
- Surveillance cameras installed outside of his place
- Friends entered wrong side of duplex and walked in on him taking a bump of kahkaine
- I suspect Miriam knows and is the puppet master of it all


And I'm sure I'm forgetting details and stories as well..


I'm definitely looking for my escape route out of this place asap

lol.. as silly as it sounds, I had to remind myself that this guy is a spurs fan so the slight chance of him lurking CF before I decided to post this

 

UPDATE:


I've talked to several attorney's and they all just shook me / the situation off like it was nothing lol

And we didn't hear anything from Miriam until about a week ago.
Caleb my roommate just moved to Corpus Christi for a better job but he's still paying his part of the rent for this place. So Miriam calls Caleb about a week ago and asked when would be a good time to meet at our place. Caleb told her that he was on vacation for the next two weeks and that I was home and available for her to speak with. Then she started acting weird and was like "Well I'd much rather make sure you're there when I make my visit" and wouldn't give him a clear reason as to why.. She says the main reason she wants to stop by is she wants to get something in paper saying we wouldn't have to pay the charge that she faked in the first place. But I think she's going to kill us.
