Don't compare him to ****ing Kobe? What a damn joke. Lebron is so much better than Kobe. I honestly can't believe that anyone can think Kobe was better than Lebron. This amount of denial and hate is just astounding.

Lebron is basically as strong as Karl Malone (who seemed to have a fine NBA career) while being much faster, a much better shooter, a much better passer, a much better defender.

    Come on.

I dont put Lebron over Kobe. Kobe has 5 rings Lebron has 3. Kobe was ROBBED of 3-4 MVP's & had less overall talent around him career wise than Lebron. Yes Kobe had Shaq, but Lebron had Wade, Prime Bosh, Ray Allen, Kyrie & Love. Also who has Lebron beat in the east?

Literally everyone. Lebron went to the NBA finals with the worst supporting cast by a decent margin in NBA history.

Lebron had 2 good years of Wade. He had Bosh who was a great player but not an all time great or anything. Kyrie and Kevin Love couldn't sniff the playoffs before Lebron got there.

Kobe had 5 years of prime Shaq with excellent supporting casts. He had Pau Gasol with Odom/Bynum who were both quite solid.

When both teams had mediocre supporting casts, Lebron would win 60 games or reach the finals. When Kobe had mediocre supporting casts they would barely make the playoffs and if they did lose in the first round.

Agreed. East isn't as good as the West. Making 7 straight finals isn't nearly as impressive as if Lebron would have been in the West. But it's still impressive. He's still won NBA Finals matchups despite usually being the underdog.

The 2007 playoff run was insane. In 2008 he almost single handedly took down the "superteam" Celtics. I was recently watching Game 7 of that series. It was such a joke. Lebron vs prime KG, prime Pierce and prime Ray Allen and he almost pulled it out.

In 2011 the Bulls had a really good team. Lebron would just guard D. Rose in the 4th and completely shut him down (I think Rose shot 6% against Lebron that series or something)

And of course, the 2016 win was incredible.

I hear what you are saying. Houston however is definitely not as bad of a situation as living in Cleveland, Indiana, or Millwuakee. There are alot worse cities to live in than Houston. It's a city that has rapidly developed over the last few years and definitely shows no sign of stopping. To say that we have no chance of attracting any all star calliber players or a future hall of famer is a little bit of a stretch. It does however depend on, Les, Harden, and our GM. It's up to Harden more than Morey to recruit. He has to recruit and recruit hard. He has to be willing to give up that spotlight of being a one man army and learn how to play off the ball a bit. Les also has to show he is willing to pay for that ring. It took Gilbert some convinving from Lebron. Now it is up to Harden to convince Les as well. There are always going to be disgruntled Superstars. There is one in Indiana who as much as he is screaming and pouting that he wants to go to LA could probably be convinced that Houston could be a great city to team up with his buddy by his buddy. What is he honestly going to do in LA unless he can convince 2 other allstars to join him immediately. At this point it all really depends on how hard we wanna go for a ring. Harden also needs to recruit stars that he can play well with so we don't end up like New Orleans and Demarcus cousins or a Hawks team with Dwight and Millsap. If by this offseason no drastic moves are made then we are officially coasting and just trying to sell tickets.

You're right and I never meant to make Houston sound like some miserable city. Lots of former athletes have homes in Houston and those that come end up becoming very loyal to the city. My point was more that the NBA players prefer to play in the spotlight for the big prestigious franchises or bright lights city or Oceanside. We can pull it off, but there really aren't many game changers out there except Kawhi, AD, and Westbrook. The rest of the group like CP3, Griffin, PG13, Butler, Melo, Hawyward, Wall are not going to do anything unless they have a stacked all star team as well IMO. Only Kawhi and AD fit with Harden and yeah, that team would be amazing, but most likely would require Harden and AD demanding a trade to the Spurs..ie the prestigious franchise. Kawhi/AD/CP3 could be a Warriors killer with top ranked D. Safer to bet on the Spurs becoming a superteam to rival the Warriors than the Rockets even putting a team together that could beat the Cavs....

Revisionist seem to leave that out. They were down 18 in Game 6 of the NBA Finals late 3rd and early 4th quarter AT home. The Bulls bench grabbed the trophy and brought the trophy in.

Stop exaggerating LeBron's size. Karl Malone would throw LeBron around like a rag doll....and probably get away with it. ****ing scumbag. As much as i hate him, i get tired of people saying LeBron is Karl Malone with Jordan's athleticism.

Still finished the game with 33 points on 54% fg. It was a 14-2 run where the Blazers had like 4 stupid turnovers. The Bulls were still down 3 when MJ came back and there was still over 8 min left...MJ had 12 4th qtr pts including that famous highlight where he steals it from behind and dunks it and the Bulls took the lead and a layup to go up by 4 with 30+seconds left(should have been and 1 as he was pushed from behind) AND 2 free throws to seal the win.

Saying the Bulls bench grabbed the trophy while ignoring MJ's monster series and still overall great game is also revisionist history.

He is though. Karl Malone throwing around LeBron like a rag doll is just bullshit. Lebron is 250-260 pounds. So was Malone.

Have you seen the way Lebron powers through contact on And 1s? Teams literally wrap him up and he still scores. There was a play in Game 2 which would have been a flagrant on any other player in the NBA but was fine because Lebron powered through someone pulling him down from the shoulders.

Wilt is still the best NBA athlete all things considered IMO (lack of training, era) but Lebron is up there.

I knew you were going to say that. Karl Malone wasn't that weight since his rookie year off season. Weights were rarely updated from then just as heights are rarely updated if someone grows ala KD being 6'11 but listed 6'9 still. Weights usually are updated these days.

    Karl Malone 6'9" 250lbs
    [IMG]

    David Robinson 7'1 235 lbs
    [IMG]

LeBron James 6'8" 250 up to unofficial BS reports of 290 hahahaha

Yeah.....sure. LeBron outweights Karl Malone and David Robinson and Kevin Durants skinny ass at 240 lbs is heavier than David Robinson and 10lbs lighter than Karl Malone and almost same weight as Charles Barkley, right? EMERGERRRDDD PLAYERS TODAY ARE SO MUCH BIGGER AND STRONGER!!!!1

You do realize muscle definition is not how strength is measured right? There's a lot more emphasis on core strength. Trainers are way better and smarter. It's not about just getting jacked looking.

That is why a "fatty'' Sir Chuck could bang with the best of them. :D And his nemesis on TNT, the Big Mumbler

Not the best definition but strongest of that era.

I posted this after game 1 and got accused of trolling. Yet it seems the media is now agreeing. Troll still?
