Not if she murders someone in prison.

The only way to be truly sure that she won't do any more harm, and be a true deterent to others is to kill her.

You really think she's going to murder somebody in prison? Come on.

Yes, that's what I meant by that, no one's ever been murdered in prison.

Even the most cynical of you can't believe she killed her kids out of cold blood.

It is irrelevant why she killed them, she did it, and now must pay.

My point in this discussion is that she can not harm anyone if she is 6 feet under, plus my tax dollars aren't going to feed her sorry A$$.

Come on, does anyone really think that any sane mother would murder her five kids? Give me a break, this is clearly a case of insanity. Give her life in prison.

    ZRB,

Why should she get life, when her kids don't have that chance? Whether or not she is insane or not is irrelevant in my opinion.

She did the crime, now she must pay for it.

I know of some women who have had five abortions?
    Is their sanity in question.

So you believe all murderers should get the death sentence, since none of their victims have a chance of life?

That depends on whether you think abortion is murder. I don't think it is.

Why bewildered? What could be more appropriate? As a murderer you END somebody's existence. What right do you have as a murderer to expect to live yourself?

I'd say more like depravity than insanity.

We are not talking about all murderers, only Yates, but now that you mention it....all capital murders...yes !

Does this apply to non-premeditated murders? "crime of passion" murders? manslaughter (lets say a drunk driver kills someone driving? what about if you purposely kill someone while intoxicated or on drugs? in your sleep? what if you killl someone but honestly have no recollection of it whatsoever?

I'm just curious -- trying to figure out your death penalty stance. :)

U know I thought About that . ../ If i really wanted to kill someone
but did not want the needle. . . I'd get drunk and wait around the corner from his house . ..

BOOM!! . . I get it accomplish and only get maybe 10 yrs
    depending on several factors.

    You end someone else's life.

    Someone should end yours.

    Sounds barbaric? Yea it is.
So is drowning your five kids.

I go to a Rockets viewing party, I get hammered,
on my way home, I crash into a car, killing everyone in the car.

Do I deserve the death penalty for what I've done?

    Definitely.
