I do it on paper as I watch the game, pausing my DVR when needed, and then I catch up during commercials and at halftime. So I pretty much finish the game when everyone else does, and then it's only a matter of typing it up and posting the image.

It's a little bit of work, but not terribly time consuming. Honestly, if it was I wouldn't be doing it :)

wow! You rock, CCR! Thank you for the effort! You are a hardcore fan!

Love to see Yao and the team doing well now. I still hope TMac can get out of the slump and get back to his old form. That way we don't have to rely on one single player so much. Yao could have some bad night, you know. And other team will double or front him more and more down the stretch.

WOW, i remenber JVG's words, half possesions should start from Yao.
WOW, now what RA to do is Yao's on court time and his healthy.

the concept is the same but the approach is different. With JVG its guards dumping into Yao at all cost. Here they are actually swinging around first and yao establishing post left and right so its less predictable.

When Yao starting to pass, he is a much better player.

The JVG era offense relied heavily on pick-and-roll involving mac and yao/power-forward on the floor. i think the last couple of games they are actually more efficient at getting yao meaningful touches than the JVG offense. it helps when you're knocking down the outside shots, though.

The motion offense is officially scrapped when Yao is in the game. From now on the only 15 footer RA wants Yao to shoot is from the FT line.

    Great thread.

"Yao got 28 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists in this game."------If you post the scores in the bottom of your great thread after every single game, it could make the tread even better.

    Thanks for your work.

Great job man. Regretfully I missed the game today because I got off work late but I can almost visualize how the game went. Welcome back JVG-ball! lol

1st I want to say great job to CCR for the work. I know it has opened your eyes more and more and brought you closer to being a student and not a fan. I didn't know when I did the original that you were going to "upsize" it, but its really great to see.

Tonight, not to be critical is a game when Yao should shot 25 yimes. If we include the freebies, he probably did. I don't care if yao is being garded by 2 6'7 guys, if he turns and face up, that's a uncontested shot for him. Defenses, espexially gimmick types want yao to kick out. Yao needs to be aggressive early and set the tempo and shoot over Haslem who is 6'7 tops. Overrall, the team won and that's all that matters.

    Inside-out for the win.

The play that comes to mind is Aaron Brooks getting the ball to Yao in the low post and then sprinting around him, getting the ball, and going baseline for the basket. This isn't JvG's offense where everybody stood around and watched Yao with the ball.

I really don't get the "wise old man" routine you've got going on here. I can only hope it's a joke.
