That tech was rescinded by the league. I think his only true technical came last year when he put a hand on the ref's back.

True, but that Ratliff dunk was probably the most entertaining and memorable that I can think of. Calvin Murphy was going crazy, the bench was jumping up and down... :D

that was awesome. Man if yao would show that kind of emotion that would be great.

If Clyde or Bullard were to show Calvin's emotion, now that would be something

Yeah I wish our guys now would move without the ball so he can continue to do that... :D

And in the Ratliff dunk he should have gotten a foul too.....Yao gets slapped in the head pretty good right in front of the ref but no whistle until he gives Theo an ear full of Mandarin...

Gawd I miss the little Murphster on color commentary... :(

good lord - look at how small/thin his legs were back then, compared to the tree trunks he has now.

    sheesh.

    Oh hell no!

I loved Steve's energy level but those over the head backwards passes as you put it turned into many a turnover. Stevie had a very low basketball I.Q. I hope it's better but I don't watch him enough to know.

I much prefer the crisp ball movement, passing and good outside shooting that we got from our guards last year in the second half of the season.

Last years play by our guards was far superior to anything we ever saw from Steve and Cat.

I think he was refering Yao's awsome passes back then, not Cat's or Stevie's. And YES I do miss those passes from Yao. I think JVG has something to do with him not doing that anymore.

Agreed. Yao doesn't have to be a Maravich type "thriil" guy, but passes like the behind the back one to Alston on the baseline in the Heat game was just beautiful. Rafer missed the layup, though. Luckily Yao rebounded and jammed it, but I firmly believe Yao's more capable of really crafty passes that have somehow been throttled the last 2 and a half years.
