    Thats the point!
My argument is that RBK does not make the best quality of shoes.

They always wind up on the sale rack.

Go for it Yao. Bring Dollars to China.

    Ive seen RBKS line.

    Ive seen the Answer VIIs.
And Ive seen the new Franchise that come out in Oct/Nov.

The Frachise are the best buy far.

I guess we will just have to wait and see if the Yao's outsell Lebron's Air Zoom Generation or the Air Jordan XIX?!?!?!?

all in all i think this would be good for rocket fans. im tired of seeing yao as a goody goody.

RBK will make him a thug. they have the dopest comercials. you cant tell me the AI and JADAKISS comercial was not very clean.

i can see it now, YAO and WINK on a comercial together with JAYZ rappin.

now you remember JAY Z did give a shout out to WINK and YAO in his song LA LA LA.

"this aint chris rock biatch, its the rock biatch, and im the FRANCHISE like the HOUSTON ROCKETS, YAO MING!"

man, finally we will get to see more of our players in the limelight.
im tired of seeing glimpes of players names and faces here and there (like cat in the nike funk comercial doin the funky chicken in the background while the cameras were on jermaine oneil and vc).

go team RBK, and the HOUSTON ROCKETS!

i dont know bout Yao comming across as a thug, but

That would be a dope commercial.
I see where your comming from.
But I still dont think RBKs quality is better than Nike.
Nike is always comming tech, RBK is always looking pretty much the same. They are just now learning how to market themselves.
Just because they put Shakira's fine ass in a pair of $30 tennis shoes dont make their quality any better.
And the S-Dots and G-Units lookin cheap too.

Still I rather Jordan Brand outbid them tomorrow.

Come on, they will customerize shoes for Yao, and those are not going to be same as the ones you can find on sale rack.

thats what i wanted all along, yao to be on team jordan. man that would be sick. i see they signed melo and eddie george and they kicked off vin baker (obvious) and darius (not so obvious). nike doesnt seem to focus on individual players anymore. all the people they have on their squad dont have signature shoes, rather they are part of a group, like hyperflights and shocks.

i would rather have my favorite player have his own comercial and own line of shoe (except if its on team jordan).

but even team jordan is kinda wack.

they had vin baker, they have bibby, derek anderson and charles woodson. <------ woodson sucks in my opinion and he should be exploited lateraly since he had that hip surgery. (just like he was abused monday night.)

Reebok what a joke, garbage shoes to say the absolute least. Nike is by the far the superior shoe maker, I've sent back several pairs of shoes to Nike, but thats only because I've put them through hell. They are the best because they have the best technology, I hate Iverson, think Stevie is cool but would never wear a pair of Reebok or Adidas at this point.

Its really quite simple, I grew up liking the Rockets and Pippen, the Rockets are my favorite team and Pippen is my favorite player of all time. When he came to Houston, that was a dream come true, it was only too bad we had that fat lazy slob Barkley who never won a title. And Rudy who didn't know how to properly use Pip, or else we could have done something.

And what does knowing Pip is great have to do with my knowledge of basketball shoes. Pippen is brilliant enough to have had 5 of his own shoes from Nike, probaby more and still wear Nike.

C'mon people. A brand of shoes will not affect Rocket's performance. Yao surely will get the kind of shoes he's comfortable wearing.

Don't buy Reebok if you think it sucks!

Remember, Andy Roddick won the US Open this year with his untidy-looking Reebok shoes.

Im not too fond with Reeboks designs.. but they feel much better than Nike.. (or for most of them IMO).. Nike just looks better.. not all to me..

Such as VC shox and Jason Kidds is alright.. but thats about it..

im not saying that pipps shoes dont perform well, or give comfort. im sayin they suck as in ugly as HZELL. the only pipps o liked were his second one, with the streaming squigly plastic lines on the side, they came out in 95. other than that, they all sucked!!!!!!!!!!

I have to say Reebok looks pretty nice. Love their classic and NFL stuff. Nike jsut look nice but their products isn't so great. To me Nike is quantity over quality.

For you Reebok supporters, go spend some time reading the reviews at kicksology.net. Maybe you'll see why Reebok signing Yao is disappointing, unless Reebok can somehow get their act together. Fast.

Performance-wise, Nike makes some of the best basketball shoes, while Reebok makes some of the worst.

Is it common for bigs to get plantar fasciitis? :(
